Re: Intermittent stylesheet dropout

Aha! Thanks Silverbee. So the problem could be caused by two users trying to delete the same cached file at the same time? My web host suggested that perhaps it was a database overload issue. Either scenario would fit, because it does seems to happen when there are mutliple requests for the same pag...

Re: Intermittent stylesheet dropout

Further information:
I tried moving the CSS code higher up the HEAD tag block, just in case there was something in the javascript files that was causing the issue. No success - it makes no difference whether the CSS is called before or after the javascript.

Intermittent stylesheet dropout

Hi there, I've just gone live with phpbb3. Mostly it works fine, but every so often (2-3 times a session) a page will load with no stylesheet. I've searched, but found nothing that helped. I don't think it's my web host at fault as they're an excellent company and the pages themselves still load rel...

Converting phpbb2 to phpbb3 - twice

Hi. My question is pretty simple, and I think I know the answer, but I'd just like to hear it confirmed... I'm about to convert my phpbb2 board over to a phpbb3 installation. I've done a trial run, which seemed to work fine. Now I'm ready to do the conversion "for real". Do I need to remove all data...

Re: [BETA] Prime Trash Bin - Keep deleted topics & posts

Yeah, I noticed that EXreaction's Soft Delete mod got around that by moving all deleted posts into a separate table. To be honest, I prefer your method of keeping all posts in the same place and just marking the deleted ones inactive. That's such a standard technique in SQL databases I'm amazed that...

Re: [BETA] Prime Trash Bin - Keep deleted topics & posts

Phew! This was a fairly mammoth install. Kudos to you, Prime, for writing such a long and complicated mod! Everything seems to be working perfectly, and the mod itself works so smoothly it's well worth the brain freeze I got installing it. :D One small feature request, though... 1) When I delete the...

Re: Can't log out with FireFox... IE ok

Nope, it's an up-to-date version of FireFox. Just to be sure, though, I checked it on another computer - same problem. However, I think I may have found the cause... I'm using the {U_LOGIN_LOGOUT} template variable, and here's what it outputs: ./ucp.php?mode=logout & sid=6127b78527d5cd48cca4481ebabc...

Can't log out with FireFox... IE ok

As the title suggests, I am having difficulty logging out of FireFox. When I try, I just get the following error message: "You were not logged out, as the request did not match your session. Please contact us if you continue to experience problems." In the end, I have to use the Delete Board Cookies...

Wide images in IE

The auto-cropping of wide image is a very nice feature, but I'm having problems with it. Wide images under IE do not behave as they do in FF. IE seems to crop the height, but not the width, so it spills out across the page... http://img339.imageshack.us/img339/1281/screen1ln0.th.jpg IE http://img339...

I just installed v0.0.4. Wow. This is a very cool mod! I particularly like the fact it doesn't require any template changes.

Thankyou Prime. :)

Re: [BETA] Prime Post Revisions (0.0.0) - View all edits to post

Prime do you plan to progress on this Mod ? or it will stay like this ? There didn't appear to be much interest in it. What suggestions would you have? Hi Prime. First of all, thanks for this mod. It looks like exactly what I need. Up till now my moderators have been manually copying an original of...

Re: Soft Delete

EXreaction, many thanks for this excellent mod. I've always thought a soft-delete option is a much better system than an unforgiving hard-delete. Have you considered adding any other features to this mod? With a little tweaking, it could become THE essential tool for phpbb3 moderators. Here's how I ...
