Re: A simple edit?

Thanks for the code kavee.
I wanted it to show all the users' posts, not just the ones from that topic, so I changed the first edit to this:

Code: Select all

      		'U_POSTS_VIEWTOPIC_INTO'   => ($auth->acl_get('u_search')) ? append_sid("{$phpbb_root_path}search.$phpEx", "author_id=$poster_id") : '',

COuld anyone point me in the correct direction please?
I would like to add this to my viewtopic.

So that when viewing a topic, all you need to do is click View and it automatically searches all of that users' posts.

thanks in advance.

Re: how to use "{META}" in overall_header.html?

Yes if it is for verification for Google Webmaster Tools etc..... just add it below

Code: Select all

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7" />
Or above, doesn't make a difference.

Not saying impossible, just may prove to be a bit troublesome.
Some tables are dependent on others, so you may disrupt a few things.

Re: [Release] Absolution (phpBB 3.0.6)

Somehow when I look at it, I just like it.

Don't know why, can't explain it, maybe because it's different - I don't know.

Great job man.

Re: Fresh install of 3.0.6 import users now 3.0.4?

You would need to import everything as the other tables go hand in hand with the user and posts tables. Permissions, sessions, usergroups, they are all needed. If you try to import just the users and posts table, then you may run into issues. The only tables you can omit are the search tables, as th...

Re: Wrong databse size in ACP?

I always backed up using the mysqldump command, and I test them every now and again to make sure.
It seems as though everything is there.

You guys gave me a scare there :P
Had me thinking that it wasn't backing everything up :ugeek:

Thanks for the help guys.

Re: How to edit the info in "The Team"

Well the reason I use it is to be a failsafe admin account.
Only I have access to it, so it doesn't really bother me.

But yes, Brf's advice is more feasible is the better way from a security perspective.

Re: .Torrent File Statistics

You need to install the modified phpBB3 I gave you.
There are a lot of edits in the files and the database has edits and extra tables as well.
You'd be best reinstalling.

Re: Wrong databse size in ACP?

SSH doesn't have complete inserts?
So it's not the entire database I'm backing up?

Crap, then I should use another method then :|

Re: How to edit the info in "The Team"

Sorry, Only tested the founder and admin perms. Thought it would be similar with Moderator permissions. My mistake. But I know for sure that it works with the Admin permissions as I currently use it. So to sum it all up, just add them as a founder and you will be good. You will have ACP access in th...

There is a mod that does this for phpbb3.
Search and you will find.

Code: Select all

Re: How to edit the info in "The Team"

Yes you can do it without a mod. There are 2 ways actually. The first and simple way is to just add your user as a founder. This will not show them up on the team page but will still give them ACP access. The second method is to go into ACP > Users and Groups > Users Permissions Type in the username...
