Re: [ALPHA] [pre]fixed - Topic Prefixes extension

Thanks for the feedback, and I'm glad you are enjoying the extension. I do plan to fix that issue that comes from using more than 8-9 prefixes, so hopefully you won't have to limit yourself once I make a final release. 1. You would need to add [ and ] around the TEST prefix itself, I don't have a wa...

Re: [ALPHA] [pre]fixed - Topic Prefixes extension

FYI I pushed a few updates today. These changes are primarily involved with moving the prefix drag-and-drop into a drop-down menu in front of the post subject field. NOTE: The template event required for this has not yet been merged into the phpBB core. Here is the PR: https://github.com/phpbb/phpbb...

Re: help me

PHP is the coding language, phpBB is the forum software written in PHP. You are on phpBB 3.1.5, but what version of PHP is your server running?

Re: Forum just stopped

I just visited the URL in your first post and can't find a link to anything resembling a forum, nor anything that shows an error message as though it was trying to be a forum. Your forum subdomain just shows a static html page. Can you defined what you mean by your forum "stopped"? Just to say it st...

An example of my testing:

If you can test on another server that would be good.

Re: [ALPHA] [pre]fixed - Topic Prefixes extension

SalazarAG, I was testing to try to experience the issue you are having, but I don't see it happening. Hopefully as more people test the extension they will see the same issue and can help me better understand what is going wrong so I can fix it. :) Thank you for testing and I'm glad you like the ext...

Thanks Goztow, I've added that in the repo. :) Planning to work more on the extension this evening and then hopefully this weekend.

Based on the screenshots I like where you're going with it. I'll keep an eye on it.

Re: [ALPHA] [pre]fixed - Topic Prefixes extension

Sorry if it has been already said, didn't went through the 11 pages : is it possible to quick filter a page based on a tag? As a alternative for (too phisically splitted) subforums You can click on a prefix on the forum or topic page to see a list of topics with that prefix that are in the same for...

Re: [ALPHA] Advise First visit

I highly suggest including some indicator on the page and the ability to cancel the redirection.

If I go to a website and it randomly redirects me to another page I didn't choose to go to without letting me know and giving me the option to stop it, I will very likely not visit that website again.

Re: [ALPHA] [pre]fixed - Topic Prefixes extension

Hey, I'm not abandoning it. I haven't been able to see that issue with the prefixes moving around, unfortunately, though I haven't really had a lot of time to test. I plan to keep working on this, though.

Re: Accessing Another database with phpbb Extension

1. Because that file is using the forumgamer\viewtopicimages\event namespace, and classes you call in it that a) don't have a use statement at the top of the file, and b) aren't prefixed with a \ will be looked for in that same namespace. The \ at the front tells it to start in the global namespace....

Re: Extensions aren't working even after enabling in ACP

If those extensions don't include a subsilver2 folder in the styles directory, and if they appear to be adding their functionality in the ACP but not on the frontend, then it is likely an issue with the style. I took a quick look at the Board Announcements extension and it has some events in the "st...
