i know my servers like i know the back of my hand :)

Code: Select all

<user_deleted>: /home/httpd/phpnuke.nukedgallery.net/htdocs/phpBB2 # pwd
/home/httpd/phpnuke.nukedgallery.net/htdocs/phpBB2
hardcoding the path fixed the error.

... I am thinking of including the stylesheet with the mail itself. If somebody can look at that part, the better since I am busy with some other things. ... I never could get the stylesheet stuff to work right they way it is, and I wanted a slightly diffren't layout to the email so I modified the ...

hehe...nooo..my installation of phpNuke has been severly modified by myself, as have the ported phpBB forums.

due to several factors, i'd like to switch to the standalone forums, just pulling user data from a common table.

NukeCops has thus far not been helpful in addressing these questions.

I use a heavily hacked phpNuke 6.8 running the ported 2.0.6 forums. but due to the number and level of mods i'm putting in my forums i'd like to switch to standalone phpBB for the forums, while maintaining the nuke frontend for the rest of the site. there are other issues as well...phpNuke users var...

yeah i saw that in the code...phpNuke just autoincrements it, but it's easy enough to replicate what phpBB does (get highest value, add one). i'll give that a go and see if it fixes things.

PHPNuke question, but it's not what you think...

I hate the phpBB that was hacked apart to work with phpNuke. does anyone know of any simple way for phpBB and phpNuke to share the same user table in the database? I'm leaving all of the phpBB code alone, hacking at the PHPNuke stuff instead (fewer/easier hacks to be made). The only problem i'm havi...

solved it on my own... in index.php, add: if($viewcat != -1) { $catcounter = 0; foreach($category_rows as $category_entry) { if($category_entry['cat_id'] == $viewcat) { unset($category_rows[$catcounter]); array_unshift($category_rows,$category_entry); } $catcounter++; } } directly below: // // Okay,...

[REQUEST] Dynamically Ordered Categories

i'm not sure this can be done at all... right now, when users view a particular category (like at http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/index.php?c=4), they see: Category 1 Category 2 Category 3 Forum 1 Forum 2 Forum 3 Category 4 and so on...the current category is buried down on the page below the others whic...

IT WORKS!!! How to Shorten URLs for phpBB 2.0.x

See it on the second post here: http://www.nukedgallery.net/postt698.html#4277 This is the magic_url code from phpBB2.1.x, i take no credit on the code, just where to put it :) open include/bbcode.php and find the make_clickable function. Replace it with this: function make_clickable($text) { $serve...
