Re: Board watch

I had Prime Notify installed and installing Boardwatch has of course eliminated that functionality in favor of the new email format/links. I do like the new link that brings you to the least recent unseen post (makes more sense, I agree), but my users loved the functionality that Prime Notify intro...

Re: Save full drafts

Thanks, verbal! I was surprised with the way drafts got implemented in phpbb3. Pretty awkward. Glad that this mod helps turn drafts into a feature that is (IMO) more intuitive. On my own board, I don't use the list drafts button at all. Instead, I have a link in the header called 'View your drafts' ...

Re: tabulated survey at topic head

...I would ask if it's possible to see the total answears and name of responders after only one has voted-answered. Yes, that's possible if you know your way around php, but since I don't need that functionality for my board I don't plan to code it myself. The mod does allow you to hide the answers...

Re: Board watch

I've attached the files I've edited to make it work...if someone gets a chance, can you see if I edited something incorrect? I've triple checked the edits and still can't find out why this ACP page won't load. Unfortunately its one of the pages I need too :) Your problem is at the beginning and end...

Re: tabulated survey at topic head

It seems being a problem related to automod... Thanks for letting me know. There is another topic for problems with automod that you can ask questions in. But I thought that you also tried installing this manually? You should be able to get it to work manually (but it is MUCH easier to do with auto...

Re: tabulated survey at topic head

Are you saying that if you go to grant forum permssions for a user or a group, there is no 'survey' tab?

Re: tabulated survey at topic head

1.0.9 works fine with phpbb3.0.7-PL1. I suggest you install with automod so you don't make a mistake. The install.txt file is in an extra file I include in the contrib folder and is not formally part of the mod - the actual mod is in install.xml (located in the top folder of the download) - but I do...

Re: Board watch

When you are done installing the mod (or when automod is done - it's a good idea to use automod), you are supposed to run install_boardwatch.php. That file is in the root of your phpbb folder, not any subfolder. So navigate to www.[your_forum_address]/install_boardwatch.php yeah. install/index.php ...

Re: Board watch

Only problem now is that in the ACP if I click the "Users and Groups" tab, I get this at the top: ); And thats it on the page. I was thinking I messed up an edit, but I just double checked them all. Any ideas? I'm guessing the issue has nothing to do with this mod, but just in case, double check yo...

Re: Board watch

Having a blank page when I ran install/index.php. There is no install/index in this mod ;) When you are done installing the mod (or when automod is done - it's a good idea to use automod), you are supposed to run install_boardwatch.php. Re: Board watch

E-mail package size is set to 0 and I'm still seeing the behavior. I'm stumped! Me too ;) Did you install via automod or by hand. If by hand, I'm guessing you messed up an edit somewhere in includes/functions_posting.php. Recheck those edits and if you can't find the problem pm me your functions_po...

Re: Board watch

Carskee, if you only have a handful of people that are supposed to get the notice, it's possible that it is being cached until there is a greater number of emails to send. What's setting do you have in the ACP' email settings area for "email package size'? If you have anything other than 0, try chan...

Re: Board watch

I've got boardwatch installed, added the UCP perms for all users, set UCP -> Board Preferences -> Edit post notification options all to "Yes" for all users, but it seems every time a post is made, notifications do not get sent to anyone. What does it mean when you say you set those options to yes f...

Re: Board watch

A Future Pilot wrote:But now when I go to the UCP, there isn't an "Edit Post Notifications" thing under Board Preferences.
You need to go to the ACP permissions tab and grant boardwatch permissions to the persons or groups you want to have rights to edit post notifications.

Re: View or mark unread posts

Hello It says on the first post that the mod is tested on 3.0.6. I unfortunately can‘t find a 3.0.6 version with german language pack for updating. I run an old phpbb 3.0.2 with this mod (1.0.4 version). I only can find phpbb updaters to 3.0.7. Will I run in trouble with the 1.0.7 version of this m...
