Re: [DEV] SEO URLs

Will the forum be able to translate the old URLs? Meaning if I have links out there to the current URLs and install this they will still work?

Re: [BETA]Ajax Shoutbox

I spotted a problem with this other day downloading it and installing. You changed the delete error message to a pop upbox. But when I was logging out forum and trying to log back in again. At times that same Error box was being displayed (while still logging me in). Think it shows up when logging ...

Re: [DEV] Ajax Chat

This was one of the first chat mods I ever used with phpBB :) Have you thought to actually post your question for help here https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewforum.php?f=461 in the "mod writers discussion" forum? I think you could get more help from there. When posting in this particular forum you...

Re: [RC3] Upload Extensions

Updated board to 3.1.2, now I cannot get to the Upload extensions page in the ACP (extension is the latest version) It's not the only one though...https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=466&t=2287136 Could it be the known bug with re-check extensions versions? If yes, why would it affect t...

Re: [RC3] Upload Extensions

Then that should be directed towards that extension author. This extension simply follows the instructions it is given by the extension you are installing or upgrading.

Re: [RC3] Upload Extensions

It saves the uploaded extension as it was when uploaded. User content added after no. Database changes added after no. However since the plugin allows us to update directly from source ie. Github etc. it gives us a source to fall back on.

Re: [RC] Advanced BBCode Box 3.1

I can't specifically replicate the issue but yes he is suggesting you save that to file and replace the current copy you have on your server. I have used this ext. for quite a while and have had no issues with it. However I will say that an incorrect or unintended database entry on even a single use...

Re: [RC3] Upload Extensions

The saved ZIP-files do not save the content added after installation, user uploads and so on. No but they save the extension files as they were before you upgraded the extension. Currently we are mostly dealing with Beta and Dev extensions so personally I like a fallback if an upgrade isn't suitabl...

Re: [RC3] Upload Extensions

Feature Request! Some extensions are saving files within the extension path. :( For example: Oxpus Download Ext Maybe also Gallery Extensions and so on. When updating via the Upload Extension ext all uploaded files (within the extension) will be deleted! Could there be a way for ext-developers to m...

Re: Recent Posts Page for PHPBB3 - Anyone want it?

I came from JitBit .net forum software and this software is better in almost every way... except that it doesn't have a Recent Posts page! I tried going to PHPBB last year but my users made me revert back to the other software because of this very reason. So this time, before I did the migration, I...

Re: [Beta] Default Avatar

I ad this Ex, but some user don't show no_avatar.gif on their profile. Why? Not much info? A very nice feature I had from a mod once would be to select a directory with several avatars in it. Then the avatar for users who have not selected one would be randomly chosen from that directory. The origi...

Re: [DEV] mChat

It's not really fair that you guys are using this thread to draw the users attention to other similar mods that are in development. These things take time and you should appreciate the effort that these developers are putting into this, especially considering they're not asking for anything in retu...

Re: [BETA] Social Media Buttons with privacy

The top positioning is much better. The first button was overlapped slightly by the search box for the topic. It is probably my style so I just added 2   to viewtopic_buttons_top_after.html to nudge them over a bit as I wasn't so sure about the CSS.
