Re: [RC] mChat

When trying to update from a modded 3.0 board to 3.1, you should make your board vanilla again. Basically you first make a backup of files and database and then download the STK (support toolkit) for 3.0, upload it to your board. Disable your board temporarily while you execute these steps. 1) Switc...

Re: Auto language detect

What I'm trying to say is: The dropdown box will show all languages installed on the board. Without the code the default language of the board is displayed and via the dropdown box you can select another language. With the code active the page and the dropdown box will display the language selected ...

Re: Auto language detect

I believe the language drop-down will auto adjust to the language that was detected by the code.

Or you saying that selecting something else in the drop-down does not change the language after the user has registered and signed in?

Their group status is not updated until they do.
Aha, I did not know that. I checked their group status after approving their post. When it was nog correct, I manually switched the group. I'll test with a new user.

Re: Newly registered users group does not dissapear

This happens to users registering this very moment. Not older users.

Re: Newly registered users group does not dissapear

The file is already fixed by the update: public function update_session_infos() { global $config, $db, $request; If I set the postcount for Newly registered users to 1, I am right to assume that after reaching 1 post you should automatically leave that group right? Could it be bugged because when I ...

Newly registered users group does not dissapear

I have configured forum permissions for this Newly registered users group for moderation/approval. So the new...

Re: Auto language detect

Yes I believe there were indeed some problems with the mapping of the informal language packs.
Just renaming will break it. It is possible but you have to adjust some files in there as well.
Perhaps try it with the formal, classic Spanish pack?

Re: Auto language detect

If you are logged in it doesn't matter it will choose the language set in your profile. So as a guest! And restart Chrome after every change. If French is higher then English in the language list phpBB should pick French. If English is higher then French in the language list phpBB should pick Englis...

Re: Auto language detect

I do not have French in my language list, in Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer your forum loads in English.
What language have you set as default in phpbb?

Re: Auto language detect

I had to check my edits. Since an update a couple of months ago the comment signs were back lol. I just tested using Chrome and seems to work fine. 1) My board has British English & Dutch. English is the default. 2) Chrome is set with Dutch, English (US), English in that order. 3) Chrome succesfully...
