Re: [RC] mChat

Try enabling rewrite in ACP. Make sure you don't have an mChat folder in the root folder of your forum.

Re: [RC] phpBB Gallery

It's all in 1 download, but after you copy the folder there are multiple extensions, you must activate in the right order (core first).

Re: [RC] Custom Code

Customcode doesn't work on 3.1.8 anymore, but if you have used to as you say, you should have no trouble doing the things you want.

But if you want to do t...

Maybe it's a bug then.
To clarify, these posts are not awaiting approval or in a forum where regular users have no access?

Re: [RC] mChat

Settings are retained if you don't clear data of the extension, but that's supposed to be like that for easy upgrading. It is however for mChat only possible since RC4 because there was still a lot of work being done on the table structure in the database. But I see that you went from RC4 to RC5 so ...

Re: [RC] mChat

in the meantime use an Ext that does the same thing, is tried and tested and has been validated  Ajax Shoutbox, I use it every day, no bugs, no issues, no problems, IT WORKS! I tried that at first, but users want mChat. They prefer it, and frankly it has more features and is nicer looking.

Re: [RC] mChat

@Archivar Kasimi made a note a few messages back. Let me add some brief notes about the latest RC3 update: Make sure to entirely uninstall and delete any previous mChat version before uploading and installing the latest release. We hope that future updates will not require deleting extension data, y...
