Re: phpbb hosted on yahoo?

Could it be some sort of DNS problem or some sort DNS cache poisoning? Your browser tries to go to https://www.phpbb.com but instead it gets served content from another website and rightfully warns you that the certificate presented in the secure connection to the webserver does not belong to phpbb....

Re: $request->variable() problem with é è à

Ok.
I have solved it.

it seems the escape function in the Javascript portion encodes in UTF-16.
I changed it to encodeURIComponent() and I was getting progress.

Then in the php code I removed the filter_var and utf_encode functions and it's working as expected now :D

Re: $request->variable() problem with é è à

To be sure I removed all the filter_var($var, SANITIZE_STRING) functions I did on the variable but still no joy! En example of the code as it's now: $datadag[$i][$k] = preg_replace('/%u([a-fA-F0-9]{4})/', '&#x\\1;', mysql_real_escape_string(trim($request->variable('N'.$i.$k,'',true)))); The data is ...

Re: $request->variable() problem with é è à

Thanks for your comment. I have changed all occurrences that should contain a string to include a 3rd parameter true. $request->variable('post_confirm','',true) $request->variable('mode','',true) $request->variable($k,'',true) $request->variable('username','',true) $request->variable('N'.$i.$k,'',tr...

Re: [RC] Custom Code

I was looking at the phpBB wiki for a list of global variables but I could not find one for the AVATAR image so I tought about copying the source from the user menu in the navbar. But this is ofcourse much better if the global variable exists and is usable in the template.

$request->variable() problem with é è à

Hello, I am not an extension developer, but I think my question is best placed here. On phpBB3.0 i had written some web applications that hooked into phpBB to use the authentication system, so the user could just login on the forum and then use the web application (submitting reviews). After the upg...

Re: [BETA] phpBB Gallery

Doesn't matter that much, when you find the time to have a quick look is fine. One more small problem, maybe my fault: I have assigned moderator permissions to groups, and even to my user specific. I can use the modcp to delete or move images. But when viewing an image and I click on the little edi...

The user has confirmed it's working as expected. Thanks for taking the time and explaining to me how the test user permissions work :D

Re: [RC] Customize first post edit permissions

Aha, that makes sense, did not know that.
If i check my own posts when using the user's permissions I can edit the post.
So I'll ask the user to check.

Re: [RC] Customize first post edit permissions

I seem to have a problem with the extension. I'm confident I have configured it correctly, but the user can't edit his own post past the time limit from the board. I took screenshots: Permission mask for the user I'm testing with and the forum where there is a topic/post that I'll test. http://s4.po...
