Re: What the ...? Where did this come from?

To be safe, I'd only remove this: <!-- IF S_USER_LOGGED_IN -->{LAST_VISIT_DATE}<!-- ENDIF --> That''s the part that won't display if you aren't logged in; the TD cell will still be there. Steve P.S. One reason people may not have responded for a while is the poor choice of Subject. Some people igno...

Re: What the ...? Where did this come from?

If you were not seeing it before, you you must have removed it because it is standard on most styles. robert Definitely didn't so that, Robert. I keep all edits as text files I can refer back to if need be. I checked and don't have it in my folder. Can you advise where it would be so I CAN remove i...

Nobody has any idea on this one? I have got to get rid of this if possible - it's extremely annoying.

Thanks
It still sounds counter-productive to me to see up FORUM software while having no wish to use forums. But what do I know.

Re: help with creating color variation in prosilver

You will need a javascript to do this. If you click on View/page Source, for example, you will see near the top he has a javascript named "demo.js" plus another one I forget the name of already. Below that are the individual stylesheets for those color choices. That's what you need to do. ...

Re: Unwanted Forum or SubForum ? ? ?

Well - it didn't create itself, so either you or another administrator (if you have any) made it.

Just go into your ACP/Forums and check the listing of all your forums. The one you don't want, click on the red circle with the X inside on the far right and it will be gone.

[RESOLVED] Replace "Last Visit" with "Welcome {username}"?

I'm on my forum every day, a few times a day. I was on late last night for over an hour, for example, tending to maintainance. Now this morning I check in to see what's new and there is something I have never seen before - right above the board index is a message saying my last logon was Friday 3/5,...

Re: phpbb ?

If you don't want any forums AT ALL - why are you even bothering with forum software? Why don't you get a web host and setup your chat on a personal website? Adda gallery (Coppermine or gallery2) if you want and chat service of your choice. You have to have at least one forum using phpBB as a base.

Re: Place the style within a box on my website

Perhaps the guy suggesting using iframes should read THIS, and other professional design sites on the web. As Robert has said, iframes are NOT recommended for many reasons - not the least of which is security.

Re: Help- Multiple Questions About Customizing

Whether or not you're wasting you time is a matter of opinion. Your question about colors is very basic - for a subsilver2 style, you edit the stylesheet.css. If you don't know what specifically to edit, grab theFirebug add-on (assuming you use Firefox) and it will tell you. I would recommend doing ...

I would not expect you to be able to copy/paste items in the ASCII extended character set. Try ric's suggestion and see what happens here.

Can you provide a link to a .wmv file that causes this? I have no problem with embedding .wmv files in my forum.
