sorry for the possible stupid questions, but if 1.2.4 is the latest where do i download it from ? (assuming it's been validated) is it possible to default the signatures to off across the whole boards and only enable the ones that i want to 'on' ? is there something that will do the same with the '...

OK, took a look and it should be pretty easy to do. You could use something like:

Code: Select all

if ( $profiledata['user_posts'] == 0  )
{
   some_code_here;
}
Depending on exactly what you want to do and where you want to do it.

Can? and if so how? would this type of mod be used for users with no posts It would take an additional query of each user to get their post count. Though, I think there are probably other MODs out there that already do that. Would have to look though. It might be easier than that but I would have t...

You could always make a backup of one of your databases and restore it so both are on the same host. Then combine them.

Directly after WHERE user_id <> " . ANONYMOUS . " add AND user_active = 1 . You don't add anything more than what the MOD says to add.

This KB article goes over the MOD template and how to read them and what the instrutions mean.

I would say no, without modifications for both MODs.

I seem to have a problem where the admin username appears in the username of the user being viewed in the admin control panel. Any ideas? Ed Are you using Firefox? If you are in the Edit/View profile section and you have your settings on Firefox to automatically fill in forms then it will fill in y...

Well in case anyone wants to make it so that only admins can see an inactive user's profile, here are the changes I made. *** Only show inactive users profiles to Admins. In usercp_viewprofile Find if ( empty($HTTP_GET_VARS[POST_USERS_URL]) || $HTTP_GET_VARS[POST_USERS_URL] == ANONYMOUS ) { message_...

I've looked at that, and have found an issue which I need to resolve. When putting the block in place, the Admin can no longer edit the profile in the ACP. So when a user changes there e-mail addie and gets it wrong, the Admin etc can't then go and update it. So I may need to look around the view_p...

There are convertors that can convert other boards. If there is already a convertor for the previous board software then you could do it. Even if there isn't one you might be able to write one or find someone that could.

This MOD inherits the HTML from the rest of the forum. It would need to be modded itself to disallow it.

I could be wrong, but I don't think you can sign in before your account is active. Thus you would be unable to send emails anyway.

If I get a chance later I will check it out but I'm pretty sure that is right.

I haven't looked at the code in some time but have you tried the option in the Admin Panel that is 'allow if impossible to control'? I guess it would depend on how it is erroring out though. If it is done via code then that check might be enough to make it work. That said, it shouldn't be too hard t...

"Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /var/www/domains/gladetalk.org.uk/docs/forum/includes/template.php(929) : eval()'d code on line 482"

Probably just a missed/mis-typed edit in one of the template files.

It should be pretty easy. Just need to move the template referrence to there. Find {S_WATCH_TOPIC} in viewtopic_body.tpl. You'll remove the call to that there and place it in: <tr align="right"> <td class="catHead" colspan="2" height="28"><span class="nav"><a href="{U_VIEW_OLDER_TOPIC}" class="nav">...
