So create the table :)
I.e. you may have skipped making this table when you installed the mod, or made a table with the wrong name etc. Use phpMyAdmin to check your database tables.

Auto-refresh a certain page

Hi all, I wanted an auto-refresh function in the viewonline page. I found an existing mod that looked far to convoluted since it replaced some existing php files and templates when it actually altered very little code. So I had a go myself. It works, but I'm no php expert, so I'm just depositing the...

Hi Graham, Thanks for the reply. I'll be careful with the DB, but although I'm not that good with PHP yet, I'm a VB and Access programmer and confident with db's. The work I want to do involves getting stuff OUT of the DB and showing it in various templates, and until I get the hang of PHP I don't e...

...I'm supprised to see that in your digest, there are still the BBCode tags, I thought I had written the mail_digests.php script to strip all of them out. I expect this function to use the same code that the Search routines use when presenting the first 300 characters of a post. I'm not sure if th...

$board_config['script_path']

Hi, I want to create a test-environment for my board, using the existing database but a different root path. Say I copy everything from phpBB to a new folder called phpBBTest. To test, I log on to http//...../phpBBTest/index.php Is it sufficient if I change $board_config['script_path'] in Common.php...

Hmmm, just realise that there are groupmoderators and an admin, and whoever is viewing the users profile should only see the groups they are allowed to grant access to of course. So the admin sees all, the groupmoderators see only the groups they moderate.

Ah good, a companion in my wishes... :) Now lets see if we can attract someone with php knowledge who can get it together. I have found one hack, ## MOD Title: Show Usergroups ## MOD Author: Niels Chr. Rød Denmark < ncr@db9.dk > http://mods.db9.dk which will show a list of user groups in the profile...

User group membership

Hi, What I'm looking for is a moderator addition to profile_view_body.tpl: a separate section with all the available user groups, and a check box with each, so the moderator or admin can quickly add a user to certain user groups. At the moment this is a lengthy process of clicking between groups and...

Solved the problem. For anyone who has the same problem, e.g. on forums that are pruned regularly, get in touch with me if you need a solution. Or reply here.

Hmmm, from the last few posts it looks like nobody is watching this thread anymore. I'll try anyway: I have a small bug in the Favorites mod. If a topic in your list of favorites is removed by the board admin, the user sees a completely blank line with only the "remove" link. The "remove" link does ...

Search results persistent?

Hi,

I've noticed that after a search, if I click on any result and go there and come back, the browser warns me about expired page and so forth. Is there a quick fix for this? Because it is a real nuisance to click on something for a quick inspection and try to go back and you can't!

Thanks,
Dennis

All your requests are layout / presentation requests as far as I can see. If the digest layout could be moved to a tpl file which allows for inclusion of styles and images, people can create tpl files in line with their styles. But so far as I understand it the mailer code has no provisions for usin...

If you go here http://www.netclectic.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=225&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 you don't need to be a member to read more about the mod. It looks far from finished. For the digest mod: if the option to get digests every 15 minutes or every hour etc. were added, you would get an...
