asinshesq wrote:[edit: out of curiousity's sake, how did you get your regular forum to go to http://www.domain.com rather than http://domain.com?]
Isn't that just the domain entry in your config page? Eenter http://www.domain.com instead of domain.com?

Re: [2.0.20] MOD Troll

Nothing wrong with the code. Figuring out what may be wrong may be quite a lengthy process, all I can think of is that the troll flag for that user is not set properly, you can test that by changing if ($userdata['user_troll']) to //if ($userdata['user_troll']) and posting something, and seeing if y...

Re: [2.0.20] MOD Troll

I just tested it here and it works fine. In the file includes/functions_post.php, find this line: function submit_post($mode .... and then find this line //END MOD troll and PM me everything between those lines, including those lines, in a code block. I'll see if I can figure out why it doesn't work...

Re: [2.0.20] MOD Troll

No, no ideas, you'd have to start testing - I do that with echo statements, to see which bits of code are executed (or not) and what the variables are. The first step would be to enter fixed values in the mail()function to see if there are errors mailing anything. The result would look like this: ec...

Re: keep unread flags

No quite, if you follow the link, and from there the link to what the poster has found, he wants the unread icon in the last post column (as well as in front of the topic title) together with the last post icon, and it looks like he also wants both in the mod Last topic title on index. Question of d...

Re: [2.0.20] MOD Troll

The line mail ( string $to .... is just explanation of how to use the mail function and should have // in front of it, or remove it completely. Otherwise it looks fine!

Re: MOD REQUEST Lang flags

Without really studying the original mod again, look at the mod instructions here: # #-----[ AFTER, ADD ]------------------------------------------ # if ( $userdata['user_id'] == ANONYMOUS ) And change it to # #-----[ AFTER, ADD ]------------------------------------------ # //if ( $userdata['user_id...

Re: keep unread flags

At least you have the correct phpBB code to start with, I would have to hunt for it. And yes, you have the same four steps. Whieie, there is method in the madness :-)

Re: keep unread flags

Near the top of search.php you find this line: $userdata = session_pagestart($user_ip, PAGE_SEARCH); 1. The constant PAGE_SEARCH is defined in constants.php. if you add a new one, 2. and a language item below $lang['Searching_forums'], 3. and alter the above line to show your new constant if the kee...
