Just so I understand this correctly - because I am having the same problem. You upload the actual zipped file (don't move it to it's own folder - and don't "unpack" the contents) to the server. Is that correct?

Red/White/Blue Style

Does anyone know of a "Red, White, Blue" themed style for the phpbb? Something "Americana" or patriotic?

Serious assistance needed with SQL error

OK... my first mistake. Not backing up the database immediately before trying to "prune". So.... my most recent back-up is 6 days old. So... I do the "Prune" function and go back 100 days (I have used this several times recently and had no problems). It starts to work, and then some sort of "DEBUG M...

"PM" not working from "USERGROUPS"

I have created a few "usergroups", and in one have added several members. One of them e-mailed me and said that they couldn't "PM" from the group list. I checked it out, and sure enough, it gives an "error 404" page when you click on the "PM" button from the group member list. I came to the support ...

All right...I found the problem and it was my own fault. While doing a little "clean up" of my different accounts at my web host, I deleted the user account that the forum was using to access the database. The change didn't take effect for about 6 hours, so that's why I didn't realize that what I ha...

What is "phpmyadmin"??????? I access the "admin" functions from the main page at the bottom where it says "administration control panel" (or something like that). It has now been aproximately 7 hours, and it's still down. I have just e-mailed my host's tech support and am waiting for a reply. DOES A...

Critical Error - Could not connect to the database SOLVED!

I was plugging along just fine. Went from one post to another, and then I go to "submit" a thread, and get this phpBB : Critical Error Could not connect to the database Nothing else...... just a white screen with that. I haven't changed anything on my database. I haven't adjusted my settings or anyt...

How do I modify the template files?

I have a question. I am trying to modify (add my logo, and a navigation bar) to my "overall_header", and "overall_footer". I paid someone to install the forum for me because I couldn't get it to work, and he (Kylecool - I don't know if he's still doing installs, but he rules) put the header and foot...

Try KyleCool!!!

Well, he did it. Kyle at " http://installitforme.com/ " installed the board on powweb in less than 40 minutes. As promised I sent him $25.00. If you need a board installed, I strongly recommend using him. He says he will do it for free, but I can attest to the fact that you sould definately send him...

Finally Installed

I just want to say thanks to Kyle from http://installitforme.com/ . It took him a whole 30 minutes to get the board up and running. If anyone else needs a board installed, he is definately the person to do it. (By the way...he doesn't charge anything, but I would certainly recommend paying him somet...

Briz. I have someone that is trying to install it right now. It has been about 5 hours so I don't know how much luck he is having. If he is able to get it to work, I'll PM you or send you an e-mail with his name. I told him if he could get it working I'd give him $25.00, so be prepared to pay (but j...
