Re: Using a custom profile field value in templates

And that's why I am saying that they are not available in the regular $this->user->data[''] array. Have a look at other places where custom profile fields are handled, such as in a user's profile: https://github.com/phpbb/phpbb/blob/master/phpBB/styles/prosilver/template/memberlist_view.html#L92-L95...

And custom profile fields are not stored in the user data array either.

Re: How to only have the time format ?

The time shown on the index page on the top right, with the current time is defined in https://github.com/phpbb/phpbb/blob/master/phpBB/includes/functions.php#L4384 If you want to change that to only show the time, you will have to change it to something like this: sprintf($user->lang['CURRENT_TIME'...

Re: Discogs Add Button/Tab For Biography Artists

I'll see if I/we can get something together!
Seeing I am not familar with Discogs myself, what are the common things people link to?
I am guessing "artist", "album"/"master", "label" and "release" or something like that?

Re: Restoring posts?

I am having a hard time understanding your question, as in; what are you really after? The event that is triggered for restoring is indeed named "approve", but the $action variable defined in the $event is set to restore . This is cause 'approve' and 'restore' share a lot of the same functionallity ...

Re: How to Capturing the topic_id variable inside a form action (controller with route)?

Look at the Skeleton extension. You have to add a table through migrations. Then declare that table in your parameters.yml and import that into your services.yml . Then in the file you need it, for instance your controller, inject it as a dependency. phpBB's Board Rules example: - Migrations - Table...

Allen is just duplicating topics.
He also posted in the "Wanted" forum and he wants a different banner per forum.

Re: How to Capturing the topic_id variable inside a form action (controller with route)?

Lets bite the hand that feeds you. Just quoting me to make sure I get a notification, is what I call needy, that's why I asked you to stop quoting me. And I know people are not born all-knowing, that's why I am trying to help you, but you will not take it. So, I am going to try this one last time to...

Re: $_POST array

Yes, but seeing it is user input, you have to make sure it is within the "allowed" parameters that you expect the user to input. Do error checking on it, etc.

Re: Help with the adaptation of a tool in php for phpbb extension

Stop quoting me. Now you're just straight up being needy. Quoting me in every reply.. I am not your personal troubleshooter.

And the answer to your issue has already been posted..
the $request and <input> names have to be the same.
Your request name: t
Your input name: topic_id

Re: breadcrumbs truncated

well, having a table in your header with an embed might be one of the culprits..
And it looks like you are actively working on the style, so you probably broke it somewhere..
I don't think this is a phpBB issue, nor a prosilver issue. This is more a custom styling problem.

Re: breadcrumbs truncated

Could you check if your breadcrumbs (the <span>s around the <a> actual link) have a class wrapped-... or does anything in your breadcrumbs have the wrapped class?

Re: Help with the adaptation of a tool in php for phpbb extension

There is no way to "analyze" your code, as you do not have a link to your GitHub repository. And please do not see this as an invite to attach a zip here or in a private message. And well, what can I say, if you can not manage to request an input variable from a form, there is a long road ahead of y...
