Just make sure Approval MOD is installed after Topic Cement MOD. There is nothing to change - these MODs are compatible if ...

sceltic wrote: is the topic cement mod likely to conflict

Yes, it will, since it modifies the same part of the same query in viewforum.php

It is extremely easy to correct that conflict, however. Let me know if you plan to install the Approval MOD.

I really appreciate your help. Thank you for your kind offer! I have sent you an email. Let me know if there is anything else I can do. Hello, I had a look at your forum and decided to answer here in the topic, because this information may be useful to somebody else. I did all my testing with FireF...

Just thinking further about that problem with searching for unapproved posts. At the moment I really cannot imagine why you get corrupt HTML output, since the Approval MOD does not modify any HTML templates related to search functionality. In fact, all it does is modify 2 search queries adding new c...

I am using it on a premodded phpbb called orion. There are many many mods integrated (extreme styles, global announcements, ctracker, attachment, download, photo album, etc) and I added a few more. The style is based on fisubsilversh (which is based on subsilver). That is quite amazing!! So many mo...

one general question is - to your knowledge or best guess, are there any mod types that will probably conflict with this. As I said in the beginning of this thread, this MOD most likely will not be compatible with any other MOD that drastically changes forum/topic viewing and posting behaviour, suc...

Will you be providing an upgrade path through future updates from RC1?

If you mean from RCx -> Released Version, then yes (as I do not expect any major changes in the code).

If you mean v1.0.0 -> v2.0.0, then no.

So just to clarify, All other posting behavior would be vanilla? no approvals for any thread/post I don't assign to be? If you do not enable any Approval options for your forum(s) and you do not assign special approval permissions to users/groups the behaviour will be identical to standard phpBB in...

In this mode, the forum/posts would behave as normal. However if someone makes a post, and as admin/mod I feel their next post will need approval before public views it, admin/mods can "Flag" them. The new version of Approval MOD mentioned in my previous post allows that. You can add a user into a ...

Do you suggest waiting for this mod or using the old one? I suggest waiting. It will be well worth it. Plus, I think the wait will be very short now. Will it be available for download before validation by phpbb mod team? Yes, as a release candidate. If so, is it safe to use the mod on a life site? ...

Re: Moderator is not told they need to log in

If the Moderator is not logged in to the board and he clicks the lower link, which is the link to approve directly, he gets the message "Sorry, you can only edit your own posts". Is this what you intended? This is definitely an unwanted behaviour. It is already fixed in the new Approval MOD (v2.0) ...

Re: Error on "Click HERE to View Your Message"

It seems to work properly, except that when a user submits a reply, and then goes "Click HERE to View Your Message" instead of their message, they see this error message Hmmm... So MS SQL server does not like that query. I see... I had no chance to test this MOD with anything else but MySQL 5.0. It...

Warning: mkdir(./mods/approval_mod/processed): Permission denied in D:\Websites\www.minimum.com\bb\admin\em_includes\em_modio.php on line 184 Hmm it does look like a permission problem.
