I know that it may be hard to install, but definitely worth considering. Also, a bundled install with the current phpBB might be worth paying for. Well, it is not *that* hard to install, actually :-) I would say the Attachment MOD is three times more complicated to install by hand. The "installatio...

Yes, Post Notification for all posts, to the Moderator of that forum. Is it possible to include it in this MOD? It is possible. BUT... Because of its nature, this MOD is very intrusive when it comes to viewforum/viewtopic pages behaviour. What it means is that most likely it will not be compatible ...

For when there is not a lot of activity, and the Moderator wants to be notified by email when there is a posting, so the Moderator doesn't have to keep checking the board. So, basically, you want post notification for ALL posts? I am not sure if it makes sense to implement that for this MOD, as a m...

Re: Notify moderator of ANY post?

Gregminimum wrote: Can this MOD be used to notify the moderator of a post, if the post does not require approval? If not, do you know how this can be done?

In principle, it can be implemented. However, what's the practical use?

I need this fonction on my board. So you can develope more easily to edit for install this MOD in the future? Make this MOD another method. I am developing a new MOD which is much more powerful than this one. Hopefully it will be easier to install as well. This is the topic for the new MOD, which i...

This is viewforum.php... But there are already some editing in my file. e.g. Global announcement, or topic-calendar... etc. How do I do? As it states in the readme file and in the third post in this thread: This MOD most likely will NOT work with any other MOD that changes message posting or topic/...

I had to rebuild my PC at home completely. Since I was missing a couple of essential parts, it took more that a week to put it back together. I resumed my work on this MOD yesterday. Soon. It will be here soon.

At this stage - no. Maybe it will be eventually implemented in the Approval Groups MOD.

After installation of the Approval MOD, can it be uninstalled, and then the Approval Groups MOD be installed without problems? If you made a backup of all modified files (EasyMOD does this for you, for instance) AND you have not installed any mods after the Approval MOD, then you can just replace t...

To make this MOD "upgradable" to the Approval Groups MOD will mean additional development. I never planned this, to be honest. Approval Groups MOD is really another MOD there is a lot of new code in it and the code from this MOD is not really used one-to-one. So I would say treat them as two complet...

Three weeks have passed, I know :-) I still have not finished the initial code. Mainly due to the diving course I am doing at the moment which takes all of my weekends. Having said that, I am nearly finished and just want to make sure that there are no really stupid bugs before I publish it here. So...

This MOD is not really a lot of code. I am currently developing this MOD further into another one that will allow approval by groups. See the info in this topic.
