Yeah, that sounds pretty close. 1 ad/link per thread, always the same ad attached to the same thread.

I don't want it randomized, though... I want each specific thread to have a static link. A pain in the arse, I know, but the advertiser is willing to pay good $$ for it. So if you look @ thread 1526 - it will always have link a there, and thread 1267 will always have link k , etc. Does that make sen...

Yeah, I thought that initially, but I need each thread to have a unique link... so thread 1506 has a different, static link that thread 1298... know what I mean?

Yeah, that's not exactly what I'm after, though... I want it like vbulletin (gasp!) where you can enter in the member name that referred you... to track for a member acquisition contest...

Yeah, I don't think I'll bother then... Is there a way to make the medal count not show up in the viewtopic section, but still have the medals show up there?

Yeah, I was thinking of doing that as well... is that the only place we really have to change stuff? What about file names like medals.php and medalscp.php - I guess it's easiest just to leave them, eh?

So once I upload it, just open the page, then delete? (sorry... still new to this)
