I was going around in circles as I hadn't noticed the 'select type' pulldown box where user perms can be changed to mod perms.

I will do what you suggest and have a queue when I have a few more users.

It is confined to one user and it does happen with another forum which he uses so it must be something on his machine.

I will find out what browser he is using.

One of my users has a problem. When making a post, he clicks on the font colour button, the swatches appear but they are greyscale.

Any ideas?

Slightly OT:
When editing files/css etc...

Do you do them via FTP and an editor, or from the within the ACP?

I ask as I was doing this within the ACP and felt as if I was going around in circles with changes becoming undone.

I have done this mod but am having a bit of a problem in that the header repeats itself vertically on the front page.



If someone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

I found another reference to bg_header.gif in colours.css and deleted it.
It seems to have done the trick.

OK I think this is sorted.

After further interrogation it turns out he uses something called roboform and selected to be hidden on his first login!
