Re: Help with upgrading board to 3.0.10

I assume you are only going to replace your files, not your "install". Dont forget, after you upload the new files, you still need to run the install/database_update.php on your "working forum". Yes my plan is to replace all files on my working forum with the ones from my upgraded dev one, minus th...

Thanks.

Does everything look like it has upgraded to 3.0.10 correctly on the dev forum?

Help with upgrading board to 3.0.10

I have an active forum which ran into a few problem with the upgrade from 3.0.8 to 3.0.9. My active forum is here - http://www.24knews.com I also have a development forum which I have reinstalled from a fresh install of 3.0.9 and reinstalled my modifications. I have also recently applied the automat...

Brf wrote:Yes, but you need the pieces for the hidden fields in viewtopic.php too.

If you have 3.0.9 code missing from that file, you undoubtedly have code missing from other files too.
What would you suggest is the best way to solve this? It appears that the upgrade has missed doing some parts to my system.

Re: Users getting logged out randomly

You do not appear to be running 3.0.9. I am not seeing the hidden fields for the search, and your topic number is in the action URL, when it should be hidden. I am not sure what you mean when you say that the topic number is in the action URL. Do you mean the url includes this; http://www.24knews.c...

You do not appear to be running 3.0.9. I am not seeing the hidden fields for the search, and your topic number is in the action URL, when it should be hidden. Well that is very strange as I have done the upgrade to 3.0.9 and when in the ACP the board version reports as 3.0.9. Do you think this is a...

Re: Users getting logged out randomly

The log out problem is very random, sometimes it seems to happen every 5 mins or so and to multiple users and others everything seems fine.

Thanks for checking things out, if it starts to happen again I will make a post on this thread.

Do you have any idea what is wrong with the search engine?

Re: Adding code to guest available viewtopic_body

There is no code for "is this page visible to a guest". All permissions are based on the permissions of the current user. You are probably better-off just checking FORUM_ID for the particular forums you want it to show in or setting a switch in viewtopic.php, based on the $forum_id. Thanks I did wo...

Re: Adding code to guest available viewtopic_body

No. The "!" is a "not". That would make the code only visible if you are not logged in. Thanks but that still doesn't do what I want. I want to add the sharing code to public access areas of the site, wether someone is logged in or not, but not the member only sections. What you are suggesting it s...
