I know there is one - I have a phpbbfm (fully modded) board that has this mod, but I don't know what it's called. You can try asking over at http://www.phpbbfm.net

I'm not sure if its a custom job or not.

Yes...the <!-- link line needs to be uncommented, meaning take the !-- out of the beginning and the -- out of the end of that code.

Also then take out all the <style stuff that has the subSilver CSS code in it.

You'll do this in overall_header.tpl...

Remember to back up!

I think it's a matter of changing login.php's POST vars to GET vars. GET is what will put the stuff in the address bar.

If you do any search on google for POST and GET for html, you'll get a slew of hits and tutorials.

There seems to be a syntax problem. If you use something like editplus you can view the .php file in question and copy & paste the block of code around the lines noted. Before you do that, tho, have you re-uploaded the files? Make sure they're being uploaded in ASCII. Some FTP programs will do it in...

Thru phpMyAdmin you can change what profile you're using without logging in.

It's in the phpbb_users table - user_style.

Yeah, it's in the phpbb_groups table, entry #2.

You can delete that row and then register with ADMIN.

AlleyKat --> Not built into it at the moment. I've got it live on another board where it's invisible until you login. I also thought having the "add a quote" temptation for guests would entice them to click on it, try to add a quote, only to find out they need to be registered/logged in. Which might...

Are you looking for a mod that will turn a category into an external URL?

Or are you looking for the "collapse" feature?

Collapse is built in.

Look in your phpbb_users table. Is there a user "admin" in there?

Go install phpMyAdmin on your server. You can copy the CONFIG information in your config.php to the config.inc.php for phpMyAdmin. This program lets you see your mySQL tables. Once in, find phpbb_config and change default_style to '1' that ought to be subSilver if you didn't mess with it.... if 1 is...
