Re: [RC] Facebook graph/connect logins and registration

Just replace the hook file itself. all changes have been in it. dl file was just updated again after my last reply to peter. It was so easy to add, I went aheads and threw it on. What that change does: if your ACP user registration settings option for 'Allow e-mail address re-use' is set to 'yes', t...

Re: [RC] Facebook graph/connect logins and registration

... I expected to be able to associate another forum account to same FB account with ease. Even tho I've done the above changes such as removing from app settings, it does not make it easy to shake-off the account ... Well, in a way this is what I wanted it to do. With a matching email, it just thr...

Re: [RC] Facebook graph/connect logins and registration

To the avatars: go to avatar settings in the ACP. I'll bet you have 'Enable remote avatars' set to 'no'. This is designed this way: if your board doesn't allow users to use remote avatars, then the fb avatars (which are remote themselves) shut off. As to the account association question: it sounds l...

Re: [RC] Facebook graph/connect logins and registration

The revoke auth option attempts to send a revoke request to fb, if a current access token is available on the user. You can verify/ensure through the app settings on fb. If you have revoked auth, then click on a login/register button through this mod, fb should ask you to grant permissions again. If...

Re: [RC] Facebook graph/connect logins and registration

Ok, this was product of a change last night. That's why it's doing it now and not before. I had changed the setcookie command in the hook to use phpbbs native set_cookie function, though I don't understand why they have/use it but I figure they had their reasons so I'd jump in with it. To do so, I h...

Re: [RC] Facebook graph/connect logins and registration

It means some versions/configurations of opera are known to have issues. Some may have problems, some may not. The hook looks for those that do. Nothing I do in this hook can correct a client side browser issue. This is something for google for answers for. I had moved the dst check into a function,...

Re: [RC] Facebook graph/connect logins and registration

Peter, that check only occurs when the svmods_check_cookie var is set as fb: this only occurs when you click on an fb login/register button (its appended to page url specifically to check for a problem: not all browsers behave and the hook has to detect it). If that value is present, the hook looks ...
