Is there a site problem?

Don't know if this is the correct place for this; but for about the past two days, this site has been REALLY, REALLY SLOW. All other sites I frequent respond as normal (not slow). This means my computer and Internet connection is fine.

Re: Topic and Posts (mainly) sort order

Not sure yet, maybe this will work... I just found it. https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/mod/forum_sort_order Since the MOD's description makes no mention of what you are asking my guess, would be that it's not a part of that MOD, but the place to ask about features of a particular MOD is the disc...

Text area

I'm not sure if I asked this before, because I can't find it, but here it goes.

I would like the TEXT area of the editor to always be a fixed font (e.g. Courier) BY DEFAULT, how can I do this?

This is both when editing and displaying the post (reading).

Thanks in advance!

Topic and Posts (mainly) sort order

Let me clarify several things up front, before I ask the question(s). 1. I know that users can change topic/post display order globally in the "DISPLAY OPTIONS" in the UCP. 2. I know that users can change post display order in when they are in a forum. Unless I'm blind: 1. I can't find anything that...

I've heard that tinymce editor can be integrated with phpBB. Does anyone have any information about this?

Re: [TOOL] Import Users

Just FYI if you want to know: To uninstall Import Users: 1. Start board. 2. Go to ACP. 3. Go to Module Management and remove Import Users 4. Delete (or rename) these files: root/adm/style/acp_import_users.html root/includes/acp/info/acp_import_users.php root/includes/acp/acp_import_users.php root/la...

I'm aware of this -- see the first sentence of my post.

"CODE" bbcode tag

OK, I've tried to find this, and I can't. I've looked in permissions, and see where I can disable the "IMG" bbcode tag and the "FLASH" bbcode tag. However, what I want to do is disable the "CODE" bbcode tag, because I'm replacing it with a custom "BOX" bbcode tag. This "BOX" tag will display a fixed...

Re: Newly registered users

Steve and Dicky: Both sounds like good suggestions . I'll present the info to the organization, and see what they want. Although Steve's suggestion is the quickest, the concern they might have is that any one that has access to the ACP, depending on their security, could change it back. The issue i...

Re: Newly registered users

The other option would be to do nothing. The “problem” seems to stem from your mistaken belief that the field can only contain integers up to 255, which as Dicky explained, is not the case. No, I'm not mistaken. I know that within the DB, it can be bigger, but here is the ACP if you put in a number...

Re: Newly registered users

Not quite sure what you are asking. Is it what is the maximum number of members in the NRU that can be removed automatically at a single time, or at all, or over what period? There is, of course, no limit on the number of members the group can hold. The code that does the removal heavy lifting is i...

Newly registered users

Can anyone tell me where exactly the upper limit on Newly registered users to be removed from this group (automatically) is at? If I recall correctly, it is 255. I don't mean in the ACP, but where in the code, or database. Thanks.
