Try first uninstalling the mod you installed last, then the mod you installed first. Then you install the mod you want to use.
For uninstalling you simply follow the step backwards, removing what you added and so on.

Colons are possible, but at the time I wrote the mod I forgot to add many characters, and my knowledge of php was not very good.

You can't use single quotes in the tag because of the security risk with javascript. ([hide=');alert('I can execute JavaScript !!!');document.write('test])

Which version of IE do you use? It should work in the newest versions of IE no matter what the content is.

I'm sorry, but the intention with this mod is hiding the content of a post so the user have to agree before seeing it, not to hide content from a user that wishes to see it.

This may be completely irrelevant since I am still using the BETA version. When you put a single quote into the hide= text you get a java error. I.e.
