index.php?c=3,6 --- Multiple open Categories

You can see ALL categories: index.php -or- You can see ONE category: index.php ?c=3 But how can you see TWO categories? ( index.php ?c=3,6 doesn't work) I run a multi-neighborhood board where there are standard categories for all neighborhoods and individual categories for each neighborhood. Current...

Category -> Forum ---instead of--- Index -> Forum

Although the SubCategories MOD sounds good, I'm afraid that it might interfere with other mods and add-ons such as ezPortal or MX-portal. I have a message board that will be divided into several neighborhoods. Most people don't want to see the whole list of forums just the list for their particular ...

Well, it certainly appears to be encrypted: "TwtW....zL" If I make it empty "" or change it to my user passwd, it still doesn't work and gives the same error. Is it possible that the password from the old domain is still sitting around in a Cookie somewhere preventing startup und...

Change $dbpasswd in config.php after domain change

I hope this is an easy question. I just moved my message board from one domain to another. I made the changes in the database configuration using myPHPadmin and altered the config.php to reflect the new database name. However, the message board won't load because the encrypted database password in c...

Styles Switch

I'm sure someone has already done this.

Instead of going to Profile and changing the Style, I prefer a simple "drop down" or even "radio button" switch for easily letting user change Styles on the main page.

Nevermind. I found the place in the templates index_body.tpl I just got rid of the <BR /> and commented this out: <!-- <span class="gensmall" --> <!-- {catrow.forumrow.L_MODERATOR} {catrow.forumrow.MODERATORS} /span --> Southwest Beltway Message Board http://sw.vegasbeltway.com Drop by and...

Thanks for the link.

However, I'm not so much interesting in getting rid of moderator functions, just eliminating the display "Moderators xxxx, yyyy, ..." on the main page.

That should be a real simple mod if I can find the right file.

Eliminate moderator line - which file?

Hi, We're starting a low-volume neighborhood message board. Since I plan to be the sole moderator, I would like to save screen real-estate by eliminating the moderator line . Where can I find the file to make that minor code mod? Bob --- http://www.vegasbeltway.com/sw/ Southwest Beltway Message Boar...
