Re: Jumpbox in overall_header

Thanks.

I tried that before, did all the refreshes and no show...but I did have it inside the second navigation menu. Maybe that's why it didn't show.
Who klnows?

Anyway, thanks ever so much!

Jumpbox in overall_header

How can I add the jumpbox to the overall_header.html instead of where it is now?

I would like it to appear under the navlinks, centered, just before (or after) the line:

Code: Select all

<a name="start_here"></a>

I think the OP means something like:

Re: Forum statistics on header

Do you mean like this? http://christiansocialnet.org/1/stat-on-header.gif If so, just add this code to your header where you want it: <!-- IF NEWEST_USER --> <h3>{L_STATISTICS}</h3> <p>{TOTAL_POSTS} &bull; {TOTAL_TOPICS} &bull; {TOTAL_USERS} &bull; {NEWEST_USER}</p> <!-- ENDIF --> You mi...

Re: Adding a Google + Button to Forum

Let me start out by saying that I'm somewhat a noob when it comes to php, but I'm halfway decent at html. I'd try this: FIND <br class="clear" /> AFTER add: <li style="float: right; margin-top: 10px;"> Google+ code goes here </li> Unless your style does something weird with the c...

Re: "Change the background color of unread topics"-Doubt

It looks like this should work: Replace with: <li class="row<!-- IF topicrow.S_ROW_COUNT is even --> bg1<!-- ELSE --> bg2<!-- ENDIF --><!-- IF topicrow.S_UNREAD_TOPIC --><!-- IF topicrow.S_ROW_COUNT is even --> bg3<!-- ELSE --> bg4<!-- ENDIF --><!-- ENDIF --><!-- IF topicrow.S_POST_GLOBAL --> g...

Re: Best Social Network Platform

Been using this for many months. It's like adding a mini Facebook.
It's very stable, and the MOD authors are great about giving support.

Re: [Discuss] UMIL 1.0.4 Released

There was a good reason for including UMIL with any MOD that needed it...can't remember what it was though... :?
And with that, I rest my case! Now I have some mods to install.

Re: [Discuss] UMIL 1.0.4 Released

OK, OUTDATED. Are you saying that I can just ignore the warning and it will let me install correctly with an outdated UMIL? I honestly never tried it, I just pulled out my newest version and restored the folder like it was before the mod replaced it. Still fail to see WHY you would need to have EVER...

Re: [Discuss] UMIL 1.0.4 Released

OK, make the person download it independently like now...big deal. But Have those who authorize Mod releases strip other copies from the mods before release. If you've downloaded it once, you don't need another copy. WHY do they allow MOD authors to add the folder to their package, knowing full well...

Re: [Discuss] UMIL 1.0.4 Released

But wouldn't it make sense to just have the UMIL folder in the core package and tell MOD authors NOT TO add a UMIL folder in their MODS? Once you get it, you got it. You only need the one copy. You don't have to change anything. If I download UMIL and put it on my site, it's there. I don't need a ne...

Re: [Discuss] UMIL 1.0.4 Released

A lot of MODS have the UMIL directory in them, which means that a person is constantly getting the directory overwritten by a potentially older version, then having to update the folder again. Is there some way to require MOD authors to NOT have UMIL in their root directory, and just have it be in t...
