Make cookie Path "/forum/"...that will solve one problem.

As for the bad link in the activation email, can I try registering another test user?

K, you have Secure mode on for some reason.

Disable it. Under cookie settings, set "Cookie Secure" to Disabled. It should all work now.

That test account doesn't work :) Anyway, when you get logged in and you are redirected to a "Page not found" message, click back, and hit refresh. You'll be logged in. Go to the Admin Panel. Go to the General Admin->Configuration section. Update these values: Domain Name: kellysplace2004.net Server...

Enter the path to your forum (e.g. http://www.mysite.com/forum). After that, put "/install/install.php"

The reason is generally a configuration error. Remember if you're setting it up yourself to enter the host details into the PHP config file.

If it still doesn't work, use an SMTP server who would allow you to send so many emails.

Oh, right.

You still may have a misconfigured CHMOD. Try that.

Or maybe a misconfigured .htaccess.

Yea, with a database that size, it's probably best to leave it.

Please someone I am drowning here!
As for remote linking, that's banned on a lot of websites, try it with a site like www.imageshack.us

Do a CHMOD, and see if that solves it.
