Yes, but it takes a few more steps. First, you will need to install your smf forum (with a full export of your smf database tables) on the same server you wish to the phpbb version. Then run the converter as you otherwise would using the new path.

Hey guys, just an update: Theres still a few bugs left, thought these are minor compared to some of the past bugs I've encountered. The laptop I usually use for programming and coding was recently damaged beyond repair (the logistics board literally set itself on fire!), so I really have not had muc...

I belive thats actually not the problem; the problem seems to be that no group moderator has been set, even though it should have set the main administrator as such. Check in your groups table to see if this is indeed the case.

I'm having the same problem as you on my sites. This is very interesting, it seems to be applying a word wrap to the first column, but not to the second. I cant explain this... ill have to do some debugging and get back to you.

try using a <div id="size"> with a forced word wrap in the css (I'm in a rush right now so i cant provide you with an example). If you know what I mean, se if it works, otherwise I'll get you the actual code when i get a chance.

The problem with the first code is that [row] has not been used. It is a required tag for proper conversion. Try it with the full text and see if that helps. [table][row]I said, " The path is steep." He said, " I'm at your side." I said, "But I am weak." He said, "For you I died." I said, "Dark vall...

Could you please post the code in that table, as well as the information about your site (phpbb version, mod version, style, browser, etc)

I would assume portal. is actually root_path/portal, as a subdomain AND sumdirectory, so you should probably try using /portal in the path.

Finally, and this is the most tedious step of all, go through each post that contains an attachment and basi...

Since a vanilla copy of phpBB does not contain an attachments system, there would be no way of converting them other than to assume the user has already installed the attachments mod, which I cannot do. Therefore its up to the administrator to transfer everything over themselves.
