simple thing to do is change the color of the type fields slightly to a different color..

these can normally be done in the .css file to that theme

if you want everyone to register on your site without them seeing the board..

goto advanced permissions and set all the view options to each forum as registered..

that way, to see you forum, they have to be registered, if they aint logged in or registered, they will be prompted with a login box etc

it may be a curruption in your database.

if you have access to the database via something like phpmyadmin, run the repair table command..

im not sure if there is some type of mod on here that could repair tables for you.

I might have to stand corrected on this, BUT... you would have to add the code to one of the .tpl files located in the /templates/subSilver folder. However, if you do this, the script will be called when ever that page is loaded, and will get quite annoying, unless you can make it a run once occuran...

in most cases you make the database yourself in your hosting accounts control panel..

if not, you host should be able provide the information

basically... open the overall_header.tpl located in the /templates/subSilver folder this holds the links for the site.. you then need to add something like <a href="../index.php">Homepage</a> near to where you see all the main options where the href="" the link to the homepage.. again.. get the code...
