Problem with placeholders in italian

Hi My board (www.anonimagiocatori.it) has a problem with placeholders in ucp.php in italian language (the official one, downloaded from here). Let's say, the avatar section. In english I see correctly: Current image: Maximum dimensions; width: 160 pixels, height: 160 pixels. But in italian I see: Im...

Custom profile field with value from excel

Hi I run a very long tournament of a great number of board games with many players in my association. I assign each player points based on their plays and their victories. All of this is managed by a very complex excel file. What I'm asking for now (as I have more ambitious plans in my mind) is not ...

Re: Mod rewrite and app.php

Changed some bit in the .htaccess file, not it works. :D It is just a mystery, I guess. <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> RewriteEngine on # # Uncomment the statement below if URL rewriting doesn't # work properly. If you installed phpBB in a subdirectory # of your site, properly set the argument for the sta...

Re: [3.2][RC] Site Logo

Ok, problem solved, thanks: it was caused by Kasimi's mChat estensions addons.
Updated them, problem solved. :D

Re: [3.2][RC] Site Logo

What could it be? No idea. It sould not make any difference as to whether you are logged in or not, neither should it make any difference if there are topics or not in a forum. Do you have the problem with prosilver? Do you have the problem with all other extensions disabled? Not a style problem, d...

I see in both links a site logo ;)
Yeah, notice the great difference.

In the first the extension works.
In the second, no.

EDIT: wow!
I tried logging off... the problem occurs ONLY if logged in.
For guests, the site logo works.

What could it be?

Re: [3.2][RC] Site Logo

Found an odd problem: in the forum view, if you browse a forum with no topics in it, the extension is not called and the standard header is displayed. Example: this is a forum with one topic , and the extension works (but notice the delay as said earlier). this is a forum without topics ; the extens...

Mod rewrite and app.php

Hi. I upgraded my board to 3.2.3. Since that, my mod_rewrite stopped working. If I enable it, links rewritten without the app.php part give away a 404 not found page. Here is my .htaccess file... is something wrong in it? <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> RewriteEngine on # # Uncomment the statement below if...

Re: [3.2][RC] Privacy Policy

This extension doesn't work anymore after upgrading to 3.2.2.
The link to the policy in the navbar takes to a 404 page.

EDIT: it's a "php.app and url rewrite problem" that manifested itself only after upgrade to 3.2.2...

The address has changed since 3.0.x. It's now at https://www.anonimagiocatori.it/app.php/feed
Oh, I see, thanks a lot.
But having activated url rewrite on my board, trackers won't search for the feed there, but on the url without the "app.php" part.
What should I put in .htaccess file?

Re: ATOM feeds - what are they for?

This may also help but be aware it's from the 3.1 KB Knowledge Base - FAQ: phpBB ATOM feeds Read that, but it seems a bit outdated. However, I followed its instrucions, my feed are active, but various readers for chrome find them but cannot open them... And if I point to https://www.anonimagiocator...

ATOM feeds - what are they for?

Hi I googled and searched, but found only very old (and not updated) phpbb guides on that topic. I would like to enable ATOM feeds on my board. My objective: have a Facebook page grab automatically on my board's feeds and post them. I really don't know how to achieve that goal, I only know that I've...

Re: [3.2][RC] Site Logo

I don't know this can be fixed, But on fast browsers like Firefox Beta 64 Bits when you load a page, you see the standard background & logo first. See screenshot please: https://s12.postimg.org/5xc56o8ql/image.gif BTW: I noticed that the phpBB logo briefly flashes before the custom site logo displa...
