Can I change size of the smilies pop-up window?

Can I somehow determine the size of the "view more smilies" pop-up window when it pops up?

How do I get rid of "Re: "?

How do I get rid of the automatically generated "Re: " that is added to the subject line when someone responds to a post in my forum?

Re: Password in activation e-mail?

Ok, but seriously, we're talking about a password to a message board here right? Not to my bank account. Why would anyone bother to hack into a web server to steal my identity on some board that anyone can access anyway, and even if they did, so what? Just a thought...

Re: Password in activation e-mail?

It used to be included but was removed for security reasons. As a matter of policy I cannot help you skirt security provisions, but if you do a search, there was a long discussion about this in (I think) the Discussion forum which would be instructive. May I ask why this feature was removed? Most s...

Re: How do I reverse the URL parse function?

Thank you, it works. Now how do I make that box checked as default setting for new users, like I did with the notify box described in this thread?

Password in activation e-mail?

Is there a way to change so that users who register also get their password sent in their activation e-mail?

How do I reverse the URL parse function?

I want to change the "Do not automatically parse URLs" option to "Automatically parse URLs". I know how to change the text in the posting.php file, but how do I reverse the actual function so that URLs WILL be automatically parsed when the box is checked, and not the other way around?

Does my forum look ok?

I have had some modifications done to my forum, just wanted to check with you guys if it looks ok in your browsers. To me it looks fine in IE and Firefox, but you never know how it's gonna turn out on someone else's machine. And no, I'm not asking anyone to join or post, but please let me know if it...

How can I change the size of my smilies?

I'm not talking about when smilies are in a post, I'm talking about when they're all displayed on the right hand side when I'm typing a new post. If I add smilies that are somewhat big, then they seem to shrink in that display. They do look normal once I post them, though.

Re: How do I change my search link?

No. Use a good text editor like http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/site.htm And save using UTF-8 with no BOM I used Notepad++ and it worked great. Isn't it enough to simple click 'save' after I edited the file? I have no idea what 'UTF-8' and 'no-BOM' mean and how to reach those settings. Is it...

How do I change my search link?

After I've done a search on my forum and the search results are displayed, there's a link that says "< Return to advanced search". If I want that link to keep it's function, but say "Go to advanced search" instead, where do I change that?

Go to advanced search
