Re: Prosilver Vs Prosilver Special Edition

You shouldn't have such problems. SE is almost the same as prosilver and inherits almost all templates from prosilver. If you are talking about missing .html templates, you can ignore those automod warnings. Applying mod to prosilver's .html templates will also apply it to SE because of template in...

Yes perhaps you are correct.

I will leave things as is. But what about the duplication?

Re: Prosilver Vs Prosilver Special Edition

Hello, Do you have an issue you are experiencing with either of those styles? Otherwise, I'm curious as to the discussion at hand. Your post sounds more like a survey topic than a discussion ("which theme do you think is better"), which is frowned upon. Yes I do have an issue with these styles. I l...

Re: PHPBB site crashed

To reapply mod edits I need to go to the ACP. No you don't. You never apply edits directly in the admin panel. You edit the actual file and put it on the server and then open the cache folder on the server and delete everything except index.htm and .htaccess (if you can see it). I did not know what...

Re: PHPBB site crashed

The upper case text usually means something is wrong with the constants.php file. Try uploading a new copy or reapplying any other MOD edits to that file. Do you have any MODs other than the portal? Yes I have some other mods such as: Topic preview Top 5 stats collapsibal categories To reapply mod ...

Re: PHPBB site crashed

Looks like some of those old defunct edits were needed, you could be making things worse rather than better. Best to put back the old constants.php file and start again. Yes you are not wrong. Now I am getting this error: Fatal: Not able to open ./cache/data_global.php I could be making things wors...

Re: PHPBB site crashed

The one called portal.php. Check if it's missing first though and check the MOD removal edits from /portal/includes/constants.php compared to an original copy of that file. OK I replaced the constants.php file with a clean one as it included some old defunct edits. this has done something. All I ge...

So I guess I need to download the board3 portal.php file.

In which folder do I add it?

PHPBB site crashed

Hi, I installed a buisance mod and then removed it only to have my phpbb forum crash. I get the following error message: [phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/portal.php on line 21: include(./portal/includes/constants.php) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory [php...

Yes I know what you mean.

It seems phpbb has not kept up to wordpress as far as adaptability to news and media is concerned.

Mods not uninstalling properly

I removed a mod I installed using Automod called top five.

Unfortunately, part of the mod is still there. If you scroll down the bottom of my site you will notice that the top five border is still there.

How can it be removed?

Re: Replacing PHP logo with flash logo

Been battling with this for a few hours now and even tried a few things. In prosilver, the PHP logo disappeared altogether.

Can someone explain how I can place a Flash logo in its place?

Regards
