Re: subject line

Re: Fix View Forum Titles

It shows the levels. If you were in a parking garage with 5 floors, and each one has a section B, should the signs on the wall say "Section B" or would you like to know what floor you're on ,too? Like "Section B, Floor 5". why does the title bar need to show the levels? surely i...

Re: my user doesn't have the permissions he should have

Actually, in my experience here, I have almost never seen that particular confusion or assumption, namely that putting a user in a group automagically changes his user permissions. If that were true, why have both user and group permissions? beats the shit outta me. like i've said several times bef...

Re: my user doesn't have the permissions he should have

You can look at them, but there is really no reason to. They will all be No. Only reason to go there is to set a user's individual User permissions in a way to override the permissions he would otherwise get from a Group. I really think you need to read this again - Knowledge Base - phpBB3 Permissi...

Re: Fix View Forum Titles

Space is only wasted if, by clearing that space, you could use it for another purpose. If the title bar of the browser were completely blank, what would you use that space for? that's silly. i never said it should be completely blank. but you implied it normally shows a whole load of stuff apart fr...
