Hi Markus, if you want to redirect, you can use a server based alternative like .htacces file and the DirectoryIndex command followed by portal.php or something else... You can do, but then the user always get's redirected (another page load), the time he calls index.php and you can't use the index.php for other things...

I think this is, how it should be... because - as far as I understand the code - $template->pparse creates the whole HTML ouput (it combines the data with the templates)
