Re: YouTube embedded videos "black bar" picture problem

Hello, Same problem here - all my youtube videos now show a black rectangle (where the video is supposed to show). My problem is some of the links to my videos are using http://www.youtube.com whilst others are using http[b][color=#FF0000]s[/color][/b]://www.youtube.com so I really need a BBCode whi...

Am I up-to-date or not?

Hello,

I've noticed that version 3.2.x is out...

Yet, my forum (under the ACP/General index) shows that I have version 3.1.9 and that this is the latest version available and that I am up-to-date with my version.

I'm confused! What should I do?

Regards,

Henry

Re: Auto language detect

Hello, @GoBieN Thanks for your detailed explanations. I still think that the choice of languages in the drop-down menu shouldn't be locked. But kasimi has the solution ! (see below) @kasimi Thanks a lot ! Your change works perfectly and a new member can now choose any of the languages installed in t...

Re: Warning before a window is closed

Hello Kailey, I will look into packaging and releasing. Thanks Buddy! I have to get to bed. I have to work tomorrow. ;) I live in Colombia and tomorrow (Monday) is a Bank Holiday! :D Henry P.S. BTW, I can vouch for the fact that Marco has always been extremely friendly and helpful in the past. Dunno...

Re: Warning before a window is closed

Hello Kailey, I could just have easily packaged it into an extension and gave them the download link, but I'm not about to wreck any sort of trust or respect around here. I certainly didn't show you disrespect or lack of trust here! If you can do an extension on this one, I'm sure dozens of grateful...

Re: Warning before a window is closed

Hello everyone and thanks for your fast replies! You can use "save as draft" every time you need during the posting time. I know Marco, but the problem is that I hardly use it - except when I wish to leave a message from the current day to the following one because I'm going to bed... My mistake, I'...

Warning before a window is closed

Hello, I'm sorry if this isn't the right place to post - in which case please move my post to the appropriate area. It's been several years since I wanted to ask this question! Here you are, posting a new message or replying to one... You've spent 30 minutes polishing your message, perhaps including...

Re: Auto language detect

Hello GoBieN, I believe the language drop-down will auto adjust to the language that was detected by the code. I thought that the drop-down menu language actually showed the languages installed in the forum... Or you saying that selecting something else in the drop-down does not change the language ...

Re: Auto language detect

Hello, I'm back again ;) because I've discovered a weird bug... Now, the code works fine and it does automatically detect a guest's language (as per his browser). BUT : Imagine now that a guest wishes to register. He'll go to this page: http://www.darloup.com/forum/ucp.php?mode=register He'll be giv...

Re: Adding links (icon + text) on the horizontal navbar

Hello Robert and Elias, I'm glad to be able to tell you that a couple of friends on phpbb-fr.com pointed me to this extension on github: https://github.com/pierrdu/lmdi_links As you can see, it's basically a template that you have to tailor to your own requirements. But it does the job without havin...

Re: Adding links (icon + text) on the horizontal navbar

Hello Robert, ok, if you tell me what style you are using, exactly what links you want to add and exactly where etc. I will put something together for you. You're extremely generous - many thanks. But before I throw in the towel, I'm going to try and follow your very detailed instructions. Take care...
