Re: How to give A User- Permission to Make Sticky & Announce

Um No. U are not getting my point. No I am not missing your point. I see what you want to do and I gave a suggestion on how to do it. You can create forum role for this user including any permissions you wish this particular user to have. Then simply select all the forum you wish to set permissions...

Re: Getting posts from other board to show up on my board...

linking the dbs may be possible, but I suggest you to create a new instance of dbal_* - like $db2 = new $sql_db() - on your index page and re-make the queries and adapt the listings. Note that the functions globalize the $db variable to make its queries, so what you'd have to do is something like th...

Re: Data from other database in phpbb3

Re: Topic locked by

Try this: Create a column called "locker" on the _topics table. ALTER phpbb_topics ADD COLUMN locker VARCHAR(255) open includes/mcp/mcp_main.php Find: $sql = "UPDATE $table SET $set_id = " . (($action == 'lock' || $action == 'lock_post') ? ITEM_LOCKED : ITEM_UNLOCKED) . ' WHERE '...

Re: Help about "mode=leaders"

I do not know why the code looks like that.... This line looks pretty strange $admin_memberships = group_memberships($admin_group_id, $admin_id_ary); At that point in the code, $admin_group_id is the ID of the Administrators group and $admin_id_ary is the list of all users with admin permissions. I...

Re: Help about "mode=leaders"

It lists everyone who has any a_ or m_ permission No it does not. If shows everyone in the default Administrators usergroup and everyone else with moderator permissions. Idd. My fault :$ Well... if it's not too much off topic... why does it call $auth->acl_get_list() for a_ and then remove those on...

Re: How to give A User- Permission to Make Sticky & Announce

Making him admin wouldnt help unless you mean you would add him to the Administrators group and give this group the proper permissions. You have to set the permissions for each forum individually anyway (or copy it from an existing forum). If you want to write an script to mass change permissions, m...

Re: [code] for logged in?

Try this:
open includes/message_parser.php
Find:

Code: Select all

			$disallow = array('img', 'flash', 'quote', 'url');
Add after:

Code: Select all

			$allow_code_bbcode = ($user->data['is_registered']) ? true : false;
			$disallow[] = 'code';
