Usergroup colour problems

I would like to use the colour that the the Support Team here currently has for their name in my forum, but it always appears different. The ones on here look bold, but I can't do that on my forum. Do the group colours depend on the Style or something?

Separate Postcounts

Description: I'm looking for a MOD that will keep track of another post-count on top of the normal one. We have a spam forum, and we don't want the spam posts being included in the main post count, but we still want them kept track of. Technical Mumbo Jumbo : Version : 3.0.7-PL1 Style : Conundrum I...

Disabling the Word cesor in a particular forum

I was wondering if it was possible to disable the word censor in one forum, but not the rest of the board (I have an 18+ Forum that I want to allow swearing, but that's all). I know you can allow people to disable the censor in the UCP, but I would rather not have that as an option if avoidable.

Re: Mods on forum

If it comes down to it, just temporarily take the members out of the group.

Though there may be a way to keep them out, I'm not sure.

Re: Ban and warning

Are you also in a usergroup (in addition to your Administrator membership) that has a NEVER permission setting for banning/warning? If so, go into the permissions and change it to "NO".

Re: Problem with groups

Make yourself a group leader, you can mange them via the Usergroup tab in the UCP, under "Manage usergroups". Alternatively, you can add people to groups by pressing "Administrate User" on their profile, then going to the "groups" screen and adding them there (Keep in m...

Re: Marked topics and broken polls

I realized that, but I was thinking for future reference. This must be the cause of the broken warning feature as well. When I press the "Warn" link to give someone a board warning, I get a message stating: "Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /customers/m0rkeulv.net/m0rkeul...

Re: Marked topics and broken polls

... The Popular Topic Threshold was set to 25 (which is default, I would assume), I somehow overlooked it earlier. I set it to zero and disabled it. It worked, all the red dots went away. Again, I'm sorry for this, it's my friend time Administrating a forum, I didn't want to break anything. Also, ye...

Re: Marked topics and broken polls

Would I be able to access the file structure? If so, how, and what would I do? I'm not great with all this technical stuff yet, sorry. I am trying to learn though.

Re: Marked topics and broken polls

Ah, I assumed both of those things were the cause. The problem is, I'm just a standard Administrator, so I don't have the permissions to change either of those things. The Founder went inactive, so it looks like I'm out of luck until I can somehow get ahold of him.

Anyway, thank you for your help. =)

Marked topics and broken polls

I was going to use the template for this, but I'm not the one who made the forum, so I don't know how everything was done. Anyway. I have two problems I need help with... My first problem is that all the topics in my forum that have been posted in a lot get a red marker next to them. It makes knowin...

Re: Linking 2 User Databases

I know it's possible, because on my forum we've linked the database of the forum to that of a chatroom/online game. People sign up on the forum, and use that same account for the game. Though they are on the same server, and I'm not sure how it was done. The first question for you would be: Are both...

Re: Is there a mod for this weird request?

I was mistake. Sorry, it's been a while since I actually did this. I'm fairly certain made the new Usergroup, gave them Global Moderator permissions, but set their user-permissions for that forum as "On Moderation Queue", so I need to approve any posts or edits. You're right, this doesn't ...

Re: Is there a mod for this weird request?

Actually, it is possible without a MOD. I do it on my forum all the time (don't want a Mod going crazy and deleting my rules and such). What I did was make a new usergroup named "Moderators", and give it all the Global Moderator permissions they required, then override the Global Permissio...
