Re: forum bot

Not sure what type of bot you're looking for, but for phpBB3 I've found:
  1. Forum (phpbb3) with bot response (ALICE & Hal9000)
  2. Post Bot Mod - New Version
For phpBB2, try Googling phpBB2 Refugees. Although there are plenty of reasons to upgrade to phpBB3. ;)

Re: Site logo

Never mind, it seems to work now... After lots of mucking around with vertical-align, it appears that the easiest way is to just use some padding. Re: Prosilver, how to change navbar

OK, first of all, undo only the style changes in styles/template/overall_header.html. Now, open includes/functions.php and FIND 'U_PROFILE' => append_sid("{$phpbb_root_path}ucp.$phpEx"), ADD AFTER 'U_SELF_PROFILE' => append_sid("{$phpbb_root_path}memberlist.$phpEx", "mode=vi...

Re: Extend Signature Seperation???

You mean so that the lines

have more space in between them, sort of like this?

As for the extra line length, what do you mean by this?

Sorry, I don't fully understand what you want to get. :?

Re: Prosilver, how to change navbar

Hi, I've tested this, it should work if you are using phpBB 3.0.7-PL1 (but it should work on other versions as well). Open includes/functions.php FIND $l_login_logout = sprintf($user->lang['LOGOUT_USER'], $user->data['username']); REPLACE WITH $l_login_logout = $user->lang['LOGOUT_USER']; Open langu...

Re: Avoiding DDOS

DoS attacks can be prevented by temporarily banning the IPs using .htaccess, but yes, DDoS attacks can't really be prevented. You could move the directory, but that would mean that bots like Google would have to reindex everything on your site... How many IPs are being used to attack your website? Y...
