Re: Using the IF statement with a condition

This event in vse's abbc3 extension allow others to add buttons after the main grouping of buttons. (see pic) the smilie is from an extension that uses this option. The button that I want for admin and mods only should show up where the circle is. IF I remove the part about the admin and mod the but...

Re: Using the IF statement with a condition

Hi, 3Di, thanks for the info. tried your code and the button shows for the admin but doesn't show for the moderator. Don't know if it would matter but this is on a 3.2 board.

Make a button admin - mod only thru IF statement

I know this is kindergarden stuff but I haven't found an example for this and I know it's been talked about before. Hey guys, how would I set the IF statement for a button on the posting editor page? I know it goes in the style/template/event/ name_of_the_event.html file that defines the butt...

Re: table making procedure confused me

Hi Moonsh, does it matter if your registered users have access to the feature? if not, are you comfortable editing files? What we thought to be a simple edit doesn't work so there will need to be a bit of code added to make it so the admin and moderators are the only ones to be able to use the table...

Re: table making procedure confused me

I've just verified that. Will let the extension creator know. Hang in there. He'll figure it out for you. :)

EDIT: I have a lot of extensions on my test board that may be causing the problem for me. Do you have other extensions active on your board? IF so which ones?

Re: table making procedure confused me

Yes, that is the way it will show up for editing no matter how you use the bbcodes. Some people use to add each bit of code as a separate bbcode and then had to "manually" put all the pieces together to make a table. The extension has all the separate bits of code, but puts all the parts together fo...

Re: Do I need an extension that records voice in comments for phpbb?

I don't know if this would work for you or not but there is an extension called file upload that allows you to upload files like mp3 to your board. There is more functionality that is going to be added to it so you can remove un-needed files via the ACP for example. But, it works fine. I have worked...

Re: Topic only viewable by topic starter

I have a 3.2 test board that I added it to with no problems. At the time I was checking it out on 3.1x I wrote this for myself so I wouldn't forget how to set the permissions. after activating the extension, click the permissions tab . Then click the Forum Permissions link on the left and choo...

Re: [3.2][RC] User Details

I noticed this the other day on my test board David. I only have two members. The founder and a registered user for testing at that level. You can see in this pic the only one that shows up is the founder. If I log in the reg user, log out and back into the founder account, and do the same inquiry t...

Re: Topic only viewable by topic starter

This extension is close. I makes it so a forum can be set so a member can only see their open topics and mods / admins can read and respond to them. I believe it is permission based so you may be able to add that new group like the admins. Worth a look. Please note the original post is a bit confusi...
