Re: PBTech

PayBas wrote: After you remove the INCLUDE line, you could add the following line to custom.css

Code: Select all

body.topbar-fixed #wrap {

Thanks, that did the trick =)

Re: PBTech

Hi, I'm looking at removing the top bar as I don't need it at the moment.

When I remove <!-- INCLUDE top_bar.html --> from the overall_header.html file it removes it, but is replaced with a black bar above the header.

How would I go about removing it entirely?

Thanks

Re: Topic Cement (Set a priority display for topics)

Just an FYI, I did the edits on a 3.1.1 board. It works, just. The XML file finds aren't obvious for a couple of them, and requires a single line of code to be removed from what is added to includes\mcp\mcp_main.php find //-- mod : Topic cement ------------------------------------------ case 'set_pr...

Re: Recent topics in forum description

I was sure I didn't post this in extension requests. So, if it was moved here, I guess that answers my question. Thanks for the help..

Recent topics in forum description

Hi there, I have no idea how to accomplish this, so hopefully I can be pointed in the right direction. I'd love it to be a simple answer, but it may be that an extension is required to do it.. So.. I'd like to display the most recent post titles in my forum descriptions. I know the most recent one i...

Re: [BETA] Cookie Policy

I admit that I do not know the precise details for all EU countries and in your case you may be right but my understanding is, for all EU countries, that if the site uses cookies in any way whatsoever then you have to ask for the user's permission to store them . Hi, am I correct in saying that if ...

Thank you, but when I created this topic I didn't know it was an extension causing the issue. Now that I know that it is extension related I know to where to post and what topic.

I don't think it has been updated since before 3.1 went gold .

Yes, fully aware. The board I'm running it on isn't live.

Re: Member's posts don't display in topic

Got it: phpBB 3.1 Birthday Control 1.0.0. Now I need to figure out why - it may have been that as the member was already registered and the setting for a birthday was required that it tripped over itself or something.

Re: Member's posts don't display in topic

That's what I initially thought, I have him as a "friend" rather than foe, and we even removed each other as friends to see if that worked, but the member has now told me that he can't see them either. I think this might be down to an extension I have installed, but I can't think what one would caus...

Member's posts don't display in topic

Hey, I must be missing something here, it's driving me crazy. I'm using 3.1.1 and a single member's posts don't display in ANY topics for me. If I'm in a topic and enter into the MCP they are there and I can read and moderate them and I can even search for them via the member's profile and click to ...
