Ghost topics waiting approval

Hello, My forum has the AntispamACP, however I don't think it would be most relevant to post it in the AntispamACP subforum. Feel free to whip me silly if I am wrong ;) So. Since I restored a database backup and fixed every table reporting being corrupted afterwards, I have 8 "phantom" posts in my "...

Re: How does phpbb handle the connexions, and closes them ?

A developer's dream. But that means it's my own website's code that's buggy and somehow leaves open connexions pile up at times until the server gets on its knees, damned :D

Thank you very much once again, and long live the phpbb community ! :)

Re: How does phpbb handle the connexions, and closes them ?

Thank you, Brf ! To make sure I understood correctly, can I ask if the number of simultatenous connexions will be the same whether I have 10 or 500 logged in visitors, if all of them are inactive and don't open a new page after they've logged in ? However, if all of them open a post at the same time...

[Solved] How does phpbb handle and closes the connexions

Hello everyone :) My server risks to face a RAM issue in the future because of a growing number of simultaneous database connexions, and since I host both a website and a phpbb forum, I'm trying to find who is the "culprit", either the website, or the phpbb forum. I'd like to ask, if someone can tel...

Re: Database issue, broken forum

Hi,

Yes, I asked my host, and according to them, according to my "visual memory" of what's shown in phpmyadmin, apparently all the data was transferred.

As for a dedi, it's simple maths : 40 additional euros per month, and much more complication and worries on my side :-/

Database issue, broken forum

Hello everyone, I'm in dire straits, with a big forum broken without warning. I do have backups, but restoring them implies losing 6 to 7 hours, my connexion is too slow to reupload the tar.gz file fast enough (the reupload just began), and I don't know if restoring a backup will solve my problem. C...

Antispam Mod broken with 3.0.9 (fatal error class not found)

Hello, I have a problem with the Antispam ACP mod, it's breaking the .MODS tab in the admin panel, and blocking editing of the profiles of the users. Could you help me, by chance, please ? I explain everything in the lines below :) As an admin, I've already worked on oscommerce (hell) and wordpress ...
