Re: [Tutorial] Convert to Twig Syntax

Thanks a lot VSE for your patience. I have looked at the code implementing this, and I have found that: lang() is NOT a Twig function, it is a phpBB function used in the "special" Twig variant used here, and enabled by the fact that Twig allows for such functions being used in the (Twig) templates R...

Re: [Tutorial] Convert to Twig Syntax

Yes, so you are confirming what I thought: that the variable is treated as any other, and you must know upfront whether any L_ (label) var is processed or not. Now, my problem is not so much with L_ vars that are pre-processed and that is a known fact. My issue is that now, the template MUST know up...

Re: [Tutorial] Convert to Twig Syntax

Thanks again, VSE! And what happens with the language vars that are filled in in the code, like enabled.actions.L_ACTION_EXPLAIN in the above code? Would this be {{ action.L_ACTION_EXPLAIN }} ? If so, that might be an issue, as when you code the template, you MUST know whether the language key is a ...

Re: [Tutorial] Convert to Twig Syntax

Very useful for a Twig newbie like myself! Thanks a lot! I miss a couple of things though: Testing whether a loop is empty, like in https://github.com/phpbb/phpbb/blob/3.2.x/phpBB/adm/style/acp_ext_list.html#L45 <!-- IF .enabled --> Nested loops (blocks of vars within blocks of vars), like in https:...

Re: Image upload

In my Profile Fields Image Upload code, you can find an example. https://github.com/javiexin/advancedpf/blob/master/profilefields/type/type_imgupl.php#L148-L173 It has the equivalent for 3.1 as well. Maybe some of the things you want to accomplish with this extension can be done with my "Advanced Pr...

Re: [3.1] Display fetched results in a HTML5 table

Maybe wrap the second group (the three spans) in a div, and you are done :).
Or use a single span with different paragraphs (p tags).

Re: [3.1][BETA] Advanced Polls 1.2

These are different parts of the same issue. In the ACP Settings page, you may specify that the poll author may specify whether that particular poll will show votes or not. And if you choose to show this option, you may as well specify the default value. This is controlled together with the "Can cre...

Re: [3.1][BETA] Advanced Polls 1.2

While creating a poll on my board I got the following error: https://s18.postimg.org/984genqkp/Erro.jpg It seems that the poll_start is getting a negative value. Is this already known ? I didn't set any strange dates or so. Known bug. Solution here: https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?p=1...

Any plans for supporting notifications in 3.2 ?

Thanks for the extension, it's really useful.
Yes, but not any time soon. I have other priorities unfortunately.

Re: How to set max length for topic tile ?

For the category, you have to do something similar in the event core.display_forums_modify_category_template_vars.
I leave you the exact code as an exercise 😎
