I tried editing the word censor on my forum so that when people type things like phpbb it does a bb code link to www.phpbb.com, or yahoo links to www.yahoo.com but when it censors the words to include the bb code it just posts the code string and not a clickable link. Is there any other way i could ...

the forum had been working fine for a couple on months.

would it mean they may have disable php for some reason?

When people visit my forum they (we) get a popup box asking if they want to download index.php. html gets displayed in the browser ok but php files cause the download box to pop up. i have never seen this before. would it be a problem with my host? im thinking if it was a problem with the script it ...

I noticed a lot of sites now add thier logo next to the site name when they are save as my favorites (bookmark). it looks pretty cool.

could someone tell me how is that done and how would i impliment it within my forum?

Where would i have to edit to change the font type of peoples posts?

i had a look around but realised trying to find it by just "looking around" its pretty pointless.

did the topic title have you confused? lol thought so... i was confused to. i downloaded a mod and it was a Winamp file. :? the file extention was .mod but it was a winamp icon and opened in winamp when i clicked it, i have no idea how to use that file. any advice? i realise that this is in the wron...

I have a heavily modded forum. one of the mods in place is a highlighted cell on mouse over, but is there any mod to pop up a dhtml tool tip when the cell is highlighted? i dont think it would even have to be a mod of the source as html code can be put in forum descriptions in the admin cp of phpbb,...

is there a mod for disabling the search function? i accidently dropped the tables relating to the search instead of emptying them and i broke my forum. I think a mod for comepletly disabling any words being submited the database would solve both my problems. any help would be greatly appreciated. bt...

indexing words to the datsbase take up a lot of room and in trying to fix it i broke my forum.

so is there a hack for stopping all text being submited to the database for the search?
