Re: An error on board settings page in admin panel

Damn, you're right Oyabun1. I thought, definitively, that was a typo for “Pacific/Asia”

Yes it is. It is the time zone used in Samoa.

Re: [DEV] TimeAgo timestamps

A minor suggestion, use lower-case characters, like this:

Code: Select all

5 months 4 days ago
I think that looks better.

Have you considered using Mandrill or a similar service for mail delivery?

Thank you for the "laugh of the day" PS: To add some value to my post, I'll just say: nothing is infallible. Best wishes, -k0nsl the only way your board could have truly been "hacked" is if someone got the admin username/password or the ftp username/password. please explain what the problem re...

Re: [Release] bootlike for phpBB 3.1.5

Good job!

If you get tired of Bootstrap, have a look at Semantic UI. It'd be cool with a phpBB style done in Semantic UI :)

Re: No_Avatar gif how do i use it?

I think you can set this in "./includes/functions.php": function get_avatar($avatar, $avatar_type, $avatar_width, $avatar_height, $alt = 'USR_AVATAR') { global $user, $config, $phpbb_root_path, $phpEx; if (empty($avatar) || !$avatar_type) { return '<img src="/images/avatars/avatar-blank01.jpg" width...

Re: How to create a Friendly_urls.php without .htacces?

If you can't do your own backups, ask your host to take a database dump for you. After that, find a new host. I think it is against the forum rules to discuss hosts, or even give advice about it. So I will simply hope you find a good host.. :? Best wishes, -k0nsl I asked to my hosting and it was all...

Re: [ALPHA] Pretty URLs

Well, I had no time for it + got no more help from the author. I had it running on a live forum with a lot of activity but there were simply too many issues. If we can get a team working on it, perhaps we could resurrect the project? GitHub it and try making a team who's interested in working on it....

Aha, I see, didn't quite realize this. I have a theme which I made myself and when I performed the latest upgrade there wasn't anything messing up my theme. Admittedly I've not done any diff changes for the new phpBB template files. -k0nsl Please disregard the above. There are numerous changes to th...

Re: Upcoming Forum Upgrade

From my experience in the past and now, I can only say: Backup all existing files and your database! That's it. Once you have a working backup which you can revert to there's very little that can go wrong when upgrading. To answer a bit more specific; I don't see any issues happening at all with the...

Re: [BETA] StopForumSpam Hook

anonymouse.org was only one example which I found to be listed in SFS database. Perhaps they're not listed any more, I've no idea. Does your logs give any clues, at all? It would be nice with more specifics to go by. This hook is very rudimentary and only tested by myself - but I found no errors. Th...
