I've been using PHPBB for several years and have never had any issues. I was recently running 2.0.17 and over the weekend I upgraded to 2.0.19 and have been getting logged out, like several of you mention. I've tried clearing out files, cookies, logging out, etc. but nothing seems to work. I have be...

MYSQL problem??

The initial problem was 'too many connections' which I know nothing can be done about except contacting the host. They have already told me that they will not put an increase on the number of connections. Now the error is about a sock probelm. Here is an example: Warning: mysql_connect(): Can't conn...

Thanks for your help.

After looking at some things I'm fairly certain that webots are the problem. Is there any easy way to clear this up?

What is DoS?

I've not discussed this with my host but they offer pretty good support and could be helpful in this matter if it's something they can control.

At the bottom of the board, the number of users goes up to these crazy high numbers until the board will no longer load. It usually clears up in about a half hour or so but it seems like that problem that lots of boards were having a few months back. Do you remember that partituclar problem?

Board going down daily

I'm running the latest version of phpbb and the board is going down daily cause of the 'too many users' problem that causes it too crash. Isn't there something I can do with .htaccess to fix this? I remember doing something with my old version and was wondering if that would fix this problem. Thanks...

Okay, I've been reading about this for a little bit and I'm really confused. I have identified two files on my site that are the .htaccess file, one is in my main directory and the other in the phpbb cache directory. What should I add to these files which will not cause any further harm? I see lots ...

That method worked really good for me, here is my board:

I just used a simple dreamweaver table and added that to the mix. If you want to make sure the header you are adding stretches across like the main board does make the width = 100%.
