I don't follow your post I'm affraid... What you seem to be saying is the the code change in the .21 file is refering to an out of date version, what everyone else seems to be saying is that the file I am updating is out of date. Which of these is correct? And looking at the admin index I see this a...

.20 > .21 Line missing for upgrade.

Ok, I'm doing the code changes update, I've gotten all the way nearly to the end, I'm at this part: # #-----[ FIND ]--------------------------------------------- # Line 989 $code = strtoupper(str_replace('0', 'o', substr($code, 6))); # #-----[ REPLACE WITH ]------------------------------------------...

All I want to know for now, is what the name of the page (or where the code is) that displays "thank you for registering" is.

I'll then move on to the more detailed stuff. If I know what page or where the code is (it may be an include) I may be able to do the rest myself.

Measuring conversion.

I'm currently running a competition on my website to come paintballing for free, which requires the user to register first. I have a small google adwords campaign to support it, and I wish to measure the conversion from people clicking the ad, to people registering. I have the code that I need to pl...

EDIT: Ok, I went and reinstalled my mods following the instructions letter for letter, of course, missing out the parts where the files that it told me to edit weren't there - as they are still on my server, and I still get the same error. Any ideas? EDIT: Sorry! HIt reply instead of edit - I'm a li...

Hmmm, I'm gunna have a play and see what I can do before I give up entirely. *whimper*

What would happen if I re-upload the old files?

Used the Changed Files Only download. Uploaded the files over the existing ones (like It said) and used update_to_latest.php I knew my mods wouldn't work the other side of the update, but I'm not sure if that is causing the errors or not. I hate this kinda stuff, I wish everything would just go righ...

Upgraded to 2.0.20. Killed my forum. :(

Ok, I went through the upgrade procedure. I have a backup of my database and forum files. I followed the upgrade procedure through. Now, when you click a topic, it comes up with an error. Try it to see what I mean. www.paint-zone.co.uk/forum Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in ...

That looks a bit OTT for me.

How about this, is there a mod that would allow me to automatically make anyone who enters a group a certain rank?

So I could add a user in to the moderator group, they'd also be automatically assigned the rank of moderator along with any association Rank Avatar?
