Re: parse PHP inside BBcode

You want an extension just to "parse" PHP Code to highlight it? You don't need this, because it's already built in: [CODE=php]Your PHP Code [/code] Or you want to actually execute php Code? Never ever do this! If you wan't your server beeing hacked it's easier just to public the root password (the r...

Re: ACP module not appearing

Thanks a lot... That helps... I like the new extension system more and more... But I have some questions... I've seen that config values and tables are automatically deleted at during deinstallation of an extension... Why is there a revert function anyway? Is there a way to use utf8_general text fie...

ACP module not appearing

I'm experimenting with the new extension system and I'm trying to convert some mods into an extension... I downloaded the newspage mod as an example and tried to convert my extension in the same way, but the ACP module does not appear in the module management. What is wrong here? ext/dave/user_delet...

Re: "Recycle bin" Board

Not necessarily hidden. It can be visible but locked for further discussions. I've seen it many times before. If it is not hidden than it is not a soft delete. Keeping "deleted" posts visible, would be completely non-sense. legal questionable posts, double posts, spam etc... In the most cases it wo...

Group as group leader

Would be cool, if you can define a usergroup beiing the "leader" of a group.
In most cases the group leadership depends on user being moderator, so if you add/remove Global Moderators you don't need to give/take the group leadership for every group by hand

Re: BBcode list, missing bullets

I have a smiliar issue... My list BBCode is not working. Since the BBCode is simply not beeing parsed. I have a board with a lot of custom modification (since I use a phpBB based CMS and some social network stuff). But the board template is prosilver based and actually (almost) not touched, because ...

Re: +1, Like, or something similar

That doesn't necessarily mean they want it. No, thats right... But if they expect things and they don't get it, they will go elsewhere... Think of ribbons Good example... I hated these nasty thingies... But since I needed new the Office Version I was getting used to it... Now I expect them. And hav...
