Re: [3.2][DEV] phpBB two factor authentication

Hi Paul,

I've briefly tested this extension and it's working so far, I understand that your have been busy but I wonder if there's a roadmap or a list of tasks to do, maybe the community could help with the development, this is something I would like to use on one of my boards.

Re: [3.2][RC] SEO Metadata

Version 1.1.0-RC2 released, see changelog for more information.

Please test it, in my boards everything is working fine, but I want to be sure because once this extension is validated, I will only provide fixes and security updates, no new features.

Re: [3.2][RC] SEO Metadata

Thanks for the quick response I was under the impression that this extension also provides the meta description information. I’m familiar with the Sri meta description extension but it is for 3.1 and seems to have been abandoned- can you provide the same functionality in this extension? It will als...

Re: [3.2][RC] SEO Metadata

May I suggest a feature? Would you be able to enable us to input custom H1 tags using this extension in our ACP on certain pages? I fear that is out of the scope of this extension, this was mean to be a data extraction tool. Besides, I'm not sure I understood correctly. Do you mean to create a cust...

Re: Can I use newlines in translations?

The OS of the client shoudn't matter as the script will be handled by the server, not the browser, besides phpBB itself uses PHP_EOL.

I'll use that, I hope when I submit my extension for validation, it won't be rejected.

Re: Can I use newlines in translations?

Yes, I've tried with \n , I would need to use double quotes though, but I was wondering if that's allowed. But in fact, is the other way arround, PHP_EOL should be used instead, as it will choose the right newline character depending on the OS the script is running on. So I guess it would pass valid...

Re: Can I use newlines in translations?

Ye, the problem is that HTML line breaks (<br>) and paragraphs (<p>) are treated differently than newline characters (\n) by <pre>.

Can I use newlines in translations?

Are newlines allowed in translation files? I'm developing a syntax highlighter extension with line numbers for my Markdown extension, and in the help page I'm showing code inside <pre><code>...</code></pre> As you may know, line breaks ( <br> ) does not count as a newline: 'HELP_MARKDOWN_CODE_ANSWER...

Re: Search is not designed for programming forums (code snippets)

To be fair, this issue is not limited to phpBB, even DuckDuckGo, Google, Yandex or any other web searcher has problems with some symbols. There are some webs for this kind of searches, I can't post links otherwise they will be removed by the team for "spam" but a quick search might give you so...

I think this could be easily done.

I could take this request if nobody else is interested, I would need some time to finish some projects though.

Re: [3.2][BETA] Markdown

Seems like more extensions doing it would actually be a good reason to support it? Or is this a per-case thing? I would need to evaluate that possibility, specially seeing that there's not much interest in this extension. Most of my extensions were created for self use (except Imgur) and it current...

Re: [3.2][BETA] Markdown

Thanks! :) I'm guessing by reading about it on Github that compatibility with mChat is unlikely to happen? Or left with mChat dev? Yeah, I don't think I'll add support for extensions that changes the order of the PHP events, as kasimi said, mChat might not the only one that does that. The boards th...
