Re: fix.php for 3.2.5

I would recommend, for future references, to not run scripts for older versions, specially if you're not sure if it would work with new database schemas in newer phpBB versions. Try editing the post and making a small change like adding an extra line, space, letter, etc. That would update the post c...

Re: Float text/text align for images

It can be easily done with a custom BBCode or with an extension adding extra parameters to the default [img] BBCode.

Re: Need some help importing database

Try using a tool to import your database like BigDump or MySQLDumper. The error in your first image is telling you that you have a syntax error, the query was: RT INTO ... It should be: INSERT INTO ... If you have SSH access, you should try something like: mysql -u user -p < file.sql Replacing user ...

Re: phpBB 3.2.4 with PHP 7.3: warning in zendframework/ArrayObject.php

Sorry to reactivate this topic again, but was this already logged as an issue in phpbb? The issue was fixed in zendframework 9 months ago (although it seems the change is only included in the 3.x branch): https://github.com/zendframework/zend-stdlib/commits/master/src/ArrayObject.php No, as far I k...

Re: Last topics on the first page.

The guide is outdated, I think the column topic_approved was replaced with topic_visibility , try this one: <?php define('IN_PHPBB', true); $phpbb_root_path = (defined('PHPBB_ROOT_PATH')) ? PHPBB_ROOT_PATH : './forum/'; $phpEx = substr(strrchr(__FILE__, '.'), 1); include($phpbb_root_path . 'common.'...

Re: Fatal error: Uncaught Twig_Error_Loader:

So I seen in the coding, the template is being looked for in the right directory, but I did notice a coma after the "/template,/" directory. Could this be the issue and which file do I need to edit to fix that? No, it's only listing the paths where it looked for the file. What was the last thing yo...

Re: Last topics on the first page.

Yes but it will not be a live topics right? i must add new topics every time from admin panel =)? It would be updated automatically, that's what the SQL sentence is for, but they won't be updated in real-time (like in a chat) if that's what you mean by "live topics", you would need to refresh the p...

Re: Last topics on the first page.

You could modify the domain.com/index.php file to show a custom page and list the topics you want, I've been doing that, along with other things, for some clients.

You can check this guide, it might help you:

Re: Problems with <r> tags

In phpBB 3.2.x posts are stored as XML, so that's not a problem.

Did you run the reparser after the conversion? It's a CLI application included in phpBB:

Code: Select all

cd forum/root/
php bin/phpbbcli.php reparser:reparse --safe-mode
Check your error logs, they might show additional errors or warnings.

Also ran multiple speed tests after activating this mod and there's been no impact at all.

Truly thankful for this great extension.
Thanks for your kind words

Re: Why is my website asking "<site>wants to use your devices location"

Are you embedding any geolocalization service in your topic, like Google Maps? Did you install something on your phone recently?

Try with another web browser, like Firefox for Android.

It's mChat.
:open_mouth:

I looked in its code but I couldn't figure it out why it conflicts, I created an issue in the mChat repository, hopefully I'll get more info about this.

Kudos for you :geek:
